"Zia Projects was the installers hired by Outdoor Discovery to install our ne Range Lodge Gazebo at our home. They did an excellent job installing it. They answered all our questions and concerns and we are very happy with the installation and our new Gazebo."
"It was a shaky start with some unforeseen obstacles. However, after things settled down Bill got to work and met the deadline that I had originally set. The paint came out great. I needed 2 living rooms and a dining room painted, along with the ceilings in each room. They were able to complete everything in the timeframe given, even after my wife changed her mind on the one of the walls that had already been painted. I had movers coming the next day and Bill even offered to come back the day after the movers to fix any scuffs or scratches that occurred. If you are looking for a great finished paint job hire Bill."
We had to postpone a couple of days due to the freezing weather early January. I wasn't home the first afternoon they came but was impressed there was no mess or other evidence they had been there, just the first layer of cement in the places needed. I was home the second day they came and they laid down protective tarps in all the area's where they were working. The crew of four knew what they were doing and were very fast and efficient. They covered the cement with the first stucco layer and were gone before I realized they were done the color nearly matched and I was impressed. It turned out they had missed one crack, and when I let Alvaro know, they fixed it while working on the other areas. The third day they finished up and painted the repairs to match the original stucco perfectly. They provided a one year warrantee on workmanship and labor, which was important to me because of the time of year we were making the repairs. I was very impressed and I literally cannot tell where the repairs were made. The finish matches perfectly. I would highly recommend BluSky.

"We had a good sized hole in our bathroom wall where a towel ring had been placed. Michael used a piece of mesh to strengthen the wall before fitting in a piece of drywall. He matched the "brocade" finish on our southwest walls to match the rest of the room and painted the area with paint we had on hand. It now looks like there was never a problem with that part of the wall. In addition, he installed a new towel ring for us. Very satisfied customers! We will be sure to contact him again should we need his construction services. "
Paint removal is a time-consuming job that can take anywhere from an hour for small surfaces, like a single stair banister, to multiple days for larger projects, like removing paint from wood siding. Expect to spend between five and 20 minutes per square foot. You can use chemical paint strippers to speed up the process, but be sure you use proper protective gear and take care to pick a product that’s suited for your material.
To remove painted-over hinges for replacement or paint removal, you should use a utility knife to score around the edges of the hinges gently. Work very carefully so as not to damage the surrounding area. From there, you can unscrew the hinges and gently pry them off the door, making sure not to bend the metal.
One of the most significant benefits of hiring a professional painter is that they complete the task faster and better. Generally, it takes about a day to paint a room, depending on dry time. If you're painting your entire house or the exterior of your home, that's a lot of time spent with a paintbrush in hand. Outsourcing this project to a painting pro will save you countless hours.
Other benefits of hiring a professional painter include:
Quality experience with painting
Assistance with choosing colors
Using the right tools for the job
Extensive product knowledge
If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.
Professional lead-paint abatement companies use a variety of methods to remove lead-based paint, depending on each particular situation.
Some of the most common methods include:
Total removal: $8–$17 per square foot
Demolition and replacement: $1,000–$15,000 per project
Encapsulation: $4 per square foot
Enclosure: $10 per square foot
Chemical stripping: $10–$17 per square foot
