They were excellent. We were scheduled as soon as the PNM permits were approved, and now we have only the PNM connection fee on our bill. We generate enough during the day to offset our overnight usage. We are very pleased.

The job ended up getting done way beyond our expectations. John is a real professional! From first contact, John displayed an extremely rare eagerness to help the consumer save money which showed me that this is a guy you can trust. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, which in part was a scheduling conflict near the completion of the project, John ended up giving us a great discount on the project. We immediately started getting compliments on how great the new roof makes our house looks and I know we will get more. I am definitely looking forward to when we will be adding solar to the roof. I'm sure more locals, as well as family and friends that live further away, will be asking about that too. Of course I'll be raving about Enchanted Solar/Roofing and the honesty and professionalism that John Bodnar has that is hard to find these days. Our entire family thanks you John!

This job was a complete home roof replacement using TPO technology. It entailed scraping and removing existing roof material,  preparing the bare roof for the TPO covering, and laying down the new insulation and TPO material. The job took about one week.
The workers were punctual and diligent in their work. At the end of each day debris was collected and materials were put out of our way to the extent possible. Final cleanup was thorough and very satisfactory. While here, the workers were courteous and respectful--a bonus not always experienced during home maintenance and repair work.
Mr. Dave Baca supervised the work and made numerous visits to the site to ensure good workmanship and confirm progress; his attention to the project was very reassuring to us. It was a job well supervised and well done.
I have no hesitation in recommending Enchanted Roofing and Mr. Baca for any roofing needs one might have and I know from numerous personal experiences Mr. Baca also provides other home building and maintenance services as well.

Excellent.  I interviewed four photovoltaic installing companies before choosing John Bodnar / Enchanted.  I went with Bodnar because he was the only one who was technically knowledgable, not a salesman. We had limited roof space with good sun, and would have to have some panels oriented SE, and some SW, so we wanted to get the most out of that space. Another company proposed "string" inverters with panels pointing in multiple directions. This didn't make technical sense to me, since the output of the whole string would be dragged down by whichever panels were least exposed.  Bodnar proposed 290 Watt LG-brand panels with micro-inverters to solve this problem.  The inverters are limited to 225 W and therefore cannot fully use all the power these panels produce with strong sun exposure (they are maxed out during the middle of the day), but as the panels age, I expect that these panels/inverters will stay near max output over the years.  LG panels have the advantage that the rating is the minimum they will produce under standard test conditions.  That is, they are at least as good as their rating, with no negative tolerance. 
Two other installation companies had lower prices, but only with lower output panels. Given our site, the higher-grade panels were a good choice. The system is outperforming the warranted specs.  The installation process was very quick; the inspection process on the panel changes was not, because it requires multiple visits by PNM and city inspectors, and the inspectors see not to give proper notice before showing up.  The electrical work, conduit installation, etc. were all extremely neat. 
I would use this installer again.

I had 7 solar installers come to give estimates. John Bodnar not only had the best prices, but his 25 year warranty on parts, labor and panels beat all the other companies. He was also the most knowledgable installer I talked to. He explained that PMN rated the system based on the ratings of the micro inverters, not the panels. Because panels almost never operate at 100% efficiency, by pairing a 290 watt panel with a 215 watt inverter (225 watt max output) his systems produce about 25% more power than similarly rated systems by other providers. He also understands the laws associated with solar. I had to remove 2 trees that would have blocked my panels. He explained that the cost of the tree removal was part of installing solar and therefore eligible for the tax credits. My friend needed a new roof to install solar and received 40% tax credits for his new roof. My system has been running for over a year and I couldn't be happier.
