"The concrete driveway at my home was about 40 years old and had been breaking up for the last decade or so. I knew I had to replace it but I was concerned that doing so would damage the sewer and gas lines that run under the driveway. Then I noticed that Mountain Side was doing some of my neighbors drives so I spoke to them about my concerns. They assured me they could do the work without disturbing the underground utilities. They removed the old concrete WITHOUT using a jackhammer. Safer on the utilities and quieter. I then stress tested my sewer line by filling 2 bath tubs and started them draining them, at the same time I flushed 3 toilets and turned on every faucet in the house. No backup. They then put down some rebar (the old drive did not have rebar) and poured the new drive the next day. I now have a new attractive driveway that my granddaughters can use as a canvas for their chalk art. COST: I checked several other contractors and Mountain Side was on the low side of the average. WORKMANSHIP: Excellent Practically a work of art. CREW: Professional and courteous. They knew what they were supposed to do and did it. NEATNESS: Excellent All construction debris was removed and landscaping on the side of the drive replaced neatly. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Very pleased with the outcome."

Being able to send pictures to Eric made communication much easier and faster when trying to describe something we wanted changed. They properly installed an irrigation system with a shutoff valve, pressure regulator, automatic valve, back-flow prevention valve, filter and plenty of flush out end caps. "The crew did the job, digging up and replacing 40 ft of main water line from the city line to the house, including installation of a pressure reducing valve. Overall COST was pretty expensive for labor considering the PEX tubing for the water line was the pretty much the only parts needed minus the pressure valve. I realize they go by a book that determines cost before work is actually done, though and I agreed to it. Kinda hard to get other estimates when you are in a pickle and need water in your home going asap during the holidays. Job got done and the 2 workers were nice guys. One complaint is I asked if there was a Veteran's Discount and they did include it but it was LESS THAN a 3% discount off the subtotal. Taking a star off for this and another for high labor cost."

On the 17 April 17 Eric showed up and started the grout cleaning and completed the job in about 4 hours. The grout had not been cleaned for 10 years and was nearly black. He did a great job, the grout lines were a light gray again and tile look like new. He sealed the grout lines and left the space clean. Eric was very careful working around the furniture we were not able to move. It was a real joy to hire someone who is so professional and pleasant.
