"The  Reliable technician showed up on time and promptly went to work on the clogged drains. Very satisfied with the results, and I'll continue to use these truly "reliable" folks! They're on time, personable, honest, efficient, and knowledgeable in the areas that I've asked them for help in the past ? gas fireplace maintenance, hot water radiant heat system maintenance, and drain unplugging. Highly recommended.

"The service went very well. They worked me into their schedule and were at my home within 45 minutes of calling. Very professional and personable service. I'm not a plumbing expert (I can do the small stuff) but what I see looks very well done. They had to go get some parts as my new heater was taller than the old one, but even that was a short delay. I would definitely call them again for the next plumbing emergency, or hopefully something planned.

"They were knowledgeable, fast and efficient. They even fixed my water pressure issue while giving me a bid. The actual cost was a little higher than the estimate but worth it. I had to have my outdoor faucets replaced. The hot water heater had to be moved to access one of the faucets. The draining, moving and putting it back together was expertly done. I am very pleased with their work. Everything now works the way it is supposed to and no leaks anywhere."

"Mariano was very professional and did an excellent job. He was hired for the concrete slab for the foundation for our home and we asked him to return to do the drywall on a separate building we built. Both projects turned out excellent and we plan on using this company for any future projects."

"Edgar Gallard was fabulous!! We wanted a bathroom remodel including tear out bathtub and build new shower. Edgar handled the whole project and did a great job. I picked out marble tile that was large 12 x 24 inch and needed a wall that was straight and at 90 degrees, of which Edgar had to build and did a great job. We had small problems along the way and Edgar always helped with the solutions and let us know about the options. Very great outcome and we are very happy!!"

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

A sump pump can be added to an existing basement. To do this, you will need to use a jackhammer or sledgehammer to break up the concrete and dig a pit. You will also need to create a hole in your basement wall to run the discharge pipe through.

You should take care of any sign of water in your basement, whether it’s dampness after heavy rain or puddles of water on the floor. Besides potentially causing a health hazard, the moisture can damage your home’s structure and foundation. Furthermore, mold can grow quickly and spread throughout the rest of your home. With mold remediation costs ranging between $1,200 and $3,400, it’s best to avoid mold issues by fixing the leak.

Since basements are prone to water and moisture issues and the resulting problems can be expensive to repair and potentially damaging to your home, basement waterproofing is almost always worthwhile. Even for homes that haven’t experienced water infiltration, waterproofing the basement is insurance against facing expensive repair bills in the future. All basements will leak at some point, so fixing drainage issues and taking steps to prevent moisture and water infiltration is wise.

There are a couple of similar alternatives you may consider for a sewage ejector pump, including a grinder pump or a submersible sump pump. Submersible sump pumps protect your home from flooding from outside water, though, rather than handling wastewater from inside. A grinder pump macerates, or shreds, solid waste before pumping it onward to the sewer line.

If the time has come to install a French drain in your yard, basement, or crawl space, there's a solid chance you've been battling water damage—or the threat of water damage—around these areas. Thankfully, proper drainage should allow you to redesign these areas of your home without the fear of being inundated during the next storm. If you've had to remove a portion of your lawn for an exterior French or curtain drain, consider reseeding your lawn to patch up the spot. You can also take this opportunity to enhance your foundation waterproofing methods or even start thinking about finishing your basement .
