"NE heating and cooling by far the best experience I have had with any contractor for repairs. Pepe and his crew were very knowledgeable about installing new furnace unit. There work was very clean and very fast. They were the only company that was willing to get things done right away. During the coldest day of the year when we had a deep freeze Pepe showed up ready to make things happen. There prices are very reasonable and the dedication to making sure things work right was on point. I definitely would hire this company again. I recommend this company for any heating/cooling needs. "Hired them a year ago in August 2019. They moved my laundry room and did some other projects around my house. A year later August 2020, my water heater popped a line after they had worked on the lines when they moved the laundry room. They said that they thought the line was okay and just left it without fixing it. Flooded the room that the water heater was in. Called them about it and initially they came and fixed the pipe but when it came to who's fault it was about the line breaking they said it wasn't their fault but they would fix it. The way they wanted to fix it was not how any other company would fix it and when I told them that they kept insisting on doing it their own way. I was also told they wouldn't pay for the flooring so that cost was on me to get the flooring . After back and forth for a month or so I was forced to either do it their way or not at all and pay for it all myself. I complained to BBB about it and after that didn't hear from them and when finally got a hold of them they said they weren't going to do it at all and that now it's my problem."

"The technician arrived on time and was pleasant and professional. we discussed various options for cleaning the drain and I chose power jetting based on the technician's recommendation for our situation. Unfortunately, they only have one machine so it could not be done until the following Monday at the earliest (three day wait). Since I needed to be able to use the sink, I opted for power drain snake procedure. We also explored replacement of the garbage disposal but they only carried an inferior brand so I opted to simply have our old one removed and the needed drain piping installed. This took longer than expected due to the technician failing to pick up all of the parts needed to complete the task and having to return to their parts supplier. The work was eventually completed satisfactorily. The tech cleaned up nicely and the piping continues to work well three weeks later. I would possibly use TLC again, but would seriously consider others based on this experience."

"Late day before the project, the owner informed me that it would cost me $700 for a $50 permit to do the simple job of extending a 30 inch gas line, not including the cost of the work itself. He then blamed me for not telling him, a licensed professional, that a permit was required. I had to fire him, call off all of the other contractors ready for him to complete the work. I should have realized why the YELP reviews on this company were so bad. BUYER BEWARE!"
