"Gus Mendez, the owner, was amazing. This was a very complex project repairing cracks in our living/dining room foundation. More extensive problems were discovered as the original 35 y/o foundation was poorly done. Gus figured it all out, removed the old foundation and the 8" of wet dirt underneath and replaced with 8" gravel, then rebar grid at 12", then new concrete and tile. Gus was a highly creative technical engineer and problem solver, and with a highly artistic/esthetic sense. There was really no one else who could have done this, as the only other company that does this had an insufficient assessment for the bid. See photos for the process and outcome."

A quote was sent to me that night and a team arrived a few weeks later to complete the project. All work was completed promptly and professionally. I was present at my property to complete a final inspection before payment, and minor issues I noticed were completed before I made payment. Mountainside also accommodated my last minute modifications to the original plan, after I requested a couple pillars in the new wall section be completely filled for additional strength. I can't say whether the price they gave me is superior to other contractors, since they were the only company that responded to my requests. However, I felts the price was reasonable for the project. Communication with everyone at Mountainside was easy and prompt, and they contacted me prior to moving forward with any step along the way. He also did some drainage work that ended up a being a bigger job than we planned due to slope & elevation. He is a licensed general contractor and has a hard-working team he works with including his father who has been in the cement business for many years. They have the large digging & dirt moving equipment needed for the work. Jose was open and flexible with changes I wanted to make along the way. I am happy with my walkway and the drainage work and would use Triple MMM Construction again."
