"The first day (2/20/2015) was spent trying to locate the leak.  Several small (3/4") holes had to be drilled for the sensor to track the tags inserted at the hot water heater.  The effort had to be suspended on 2/20 because the field had become saturated.  Steve and Ray returned on 2/23/2015 and resumed the tracking operation.  After an hour or so they tagged the location and indicated that the leak was deep - 4-5 feet.  Preferred Plumbing returned, cut the concrete slab, and dug down about 5' to locate the leak about 10" away from the flagged location above the concrete slab.  I was amazed that the leak could be located with such precision  5' below a concrete slab.

Yes, it’s possible to DIY a plunge pool and shave labor costs off of the project total. Elevate your pool or place it on a foundation to prevent moisture buildup along the bottom of the container. Regularly inspect your pool for signs of corrosion, and take action when necessary.
