"We purchased a new home and worked with Abran Ganzalez to install new lighting and ceiling fans throughout the house. Mr. Ganzalez was very professional in scheduling and completing the work. He was also extremely helpful in suggesting placement and types of lights and switches to install. I was completely satisfied will would be delighted to work with him again on future electrical projects. I would highly recommend AKA Electric without reservations."

"Cameron, JJ, and Len were exceptional! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They came to my home, gave me a free estimate, and thoroughly explained everything that was needed to bring me up to code. I had already called several plumbing companies and none of them did this. The estimate was fair compared to other plumbers. They pulled a permit, did the install, and even set me up with an appointment with a city inspector. Remarkable company!"

I do this job myself every year- but I hurt myself and couldn't climb on roof. So, I know what needs to be done.
Tech was friendly and did great job.
Several years ago, they did repairs on water heater - responded quickly - great job.
He showed up on time and made sure everything was running before he left

"Crew was polite and fairly efficient. They installed a fan they had never seen before and had trouble figuring out how to put it together. This job required running electric and they had to cut holes in the drywall. They replaced the cut-out pieces but they could have taken more time with this, which would have made it easier to patch and paint later. Otherwise, they did a good job!"

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

Upgrading your electrical system can save you money on your monthly utility bills by powering your home more efficiently. Electrification nonprofit Rewiring America estimates that a household could save $1,800 per year on energy bills by upgrading to a modern electric heat pump, switching to a heat pump for their water, installing solar panels on the roof, and converting to an electric vehicle.

Hire an electrician the same way you would an employee. Ask questions and look for a good fit. Streamline the process by using these questions to ask an electrician. It's also common to ask for a quote in writing. Don’t forget to provide all the project details to ensure there are no surprises or opportunities for added fees.

You can plug your electric car into a regular 120-volt household outlet only if you’re using a Level 1 charger. This method is slower and may take several days to fully charge your EV. For faster charging, you’ll need a Level 2 charger, which requires a 220- or 240-volt outlet.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.

Local electricians with experience in your area understand the local building codes, which is very important when doing new electrical work. They also have experience with the kind of electrical problems homes in your location may have, and even the components that were used in the original construction, which leads them to make faster and better decisions.
