"Ventless dryers are a rare item in Las Cruces. When we were trying to buy this one, not one appliance seller in town even knew they exist so we bought it from LG over the Internet. It has a condenser that pulls the water from the clothes and stores it inj a reservoir as distilled water.. We chose a ventless dryer so we didn't have to cut a big hole through the bricks of our house. Julio showed up on time. He presents a fine appearance and seemed very confident he could solve the proble,m, which he quickly did, He used his Smartphone to contact the LG factory and followed their instructions. A heat sensor circuit breaker had tripped. He reset it and the problem was solved. He told me the cost of a motherboard in case it later had to be replaced but it was not necessary in this case. He charged me $80 including tax which I consider to be very reasonable. I will use Julio of Big Jack's if I ever have appliance problems in the future, and I will recommend him to friends and family. "I pay $75 annually for a certain amount of appliances to be covered. What we didn't know is that you still have to pay a service call fee and if the technician deems the appliance still functional they will not fix it and if the technician says there is nothing wrong with the appliance, they will not fix it. In other words, the appliance has to be completely broken in order for them to fix it."
Many people think this question relates directly to their electricity bill. Running your dishwasher at night both keeps your bill lower and is better for the environment. Energy rates tend to be much lower during off-peak hours. These hours are usually from 9 at night until around 6 in the morning. Your local utility provider will be able to tell you which hours are considered peak and off-peak. In conclusion, running your dishwasher during these off-peak hours is both better for your wallet and requires less energy from the grid, which is better for the environment.
Yes. Every toaster is bound to accumulate a build-up of crumbs and food particles. If left unattended, these can turn into a fire hazard.
Costs depend on appliance age, issue complexity, part availability, and labor rates.
If you've ever tried to run your dishwasher while drying your hair, you’ll understand why dedicated circuits are essential for preventing blown fuses. Appliances that require more electricity than the circuit can handle could blow fuses, trip breakers, overheat, and risk an electrical fire.
Having a dedicated circuit ensures that your appliance gets the current it needs without overloading the other circuits in your home.
Home power is measured in kilowatt-hours, commonly expressed as kWh. The average home uses between 800 and 1,000 kWh per month. Peak usage (and highest bills) occurs in the middle of summer and the depths of winter. Keeping on top of your usage during these crucial months will lower your annual average usage considerably.
