"Santiago was very prompt when we were inquiring about our project. We were on a time limit to have our front landscape done, and he came through with flying colors. We are very happy how things turned out. we will be calling him soon for our back yard when the time is right."

"A family run business. Joshua was one of the hardest workers I have seen. 2 trees removed. A cement cobblestone sidewalk taken out and pavers replacing it. Also updated drainage from ponds through the cement wall. A fair price, a good outcome, and done in a timely manner."

"The job turned out excellent! Andres was informative and patient with someone who was not familiar with xeriscaping or southwest plants. He was also a good troubleshooter along with designing. Nellie in the office was welcoming and responsive. Any delay (minor and primarily due to weather) was communicated. The crew was great. The project involved clearing the backyard to the dirt and rebuilding, including new slab patio (with stamping). Front yard plants were also trimmed for a polished look."

"Monty and crew did a great job. Showed up on time and finished on time. I need a few changes midway thru the fence building project and they accommodated me with no hesitation. They kept me informed about progress on a continuing basis which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Monty and crew and will hire him again. In fact Iâ m going to hire him for another project in the near future."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

The easiest way to remove bushes is first to cut the bush down. You may need to use a handsaw, pruning shears, or a chainsaw for thicker branches. Once you’ve removed most of the branches, you can then cut the base of the shrub as low to the ground as you can get. Then, with a shovel, dig around until you expose the roots. Dig out the roots, being careful not to leave any roots in the soil.

Experts remove leaves methodically, preventing mold and allowing sunlight to strengthen grass, promoting robust growth.

Trees that provide a habitat to bats and an abundance of bugs—their main food source—will attract bats to your yard. Because the North American landscape has changed so much in recent years, bats have a harder time finding trees with cavities to shelter in. If your yard has a dead or dying tree with a lot of sun exposure, bats will likely be drawn to it because trees with those features are less common.

Several tools exist that can help remove unwanted grass. The one you choose depends greatly on how much you need to remove and how hard you'd like to work. A sod or turf cutter is the fastest method while using a shovel is labor-intensive and much slower. You may also need a garden rake, tiller, and wheelbarrow.

Dormant seasons like fall and winter are the best times to dig up plants, including holly bushes. Plants aren’t growing during these seasons, so the removal process goes a lot quicker. Consider hiring a landscaping team to handle holly bush removal during the cold-weather months for off-season pricing deals, too.
