"Fernando and Sam are a pleasure to work with. Fernando is meticulous in his workmanship. We had no idea how much detail was involved in painting the cabinet doors and drawers, as well as the cabinet boxes. Much of it was done by hand with small brushes. They ended each day by cleaning their work area so we were not inconvenienced. They were prompt and courteous. Overall we couldn't be happier with the finished job."

"Joseph Martinez and his crew made my home so pretty! They had extra work to do with all our old woodwork, and priming that they hadn’t anticipated. They got the job done in less time than projected and I couldn’t be happier. Communication by text, phone, email, and in person were all timely and very clear. They were friendly and respected all my wishes about when to do which room, and when I needed cleaning done at a time they might not have chosen. Totally recommend them. Now we’re ready to get ready for staging! (These are pictures in process, not the finished product)."

Customers say: Quick response

"We hired Charles, owner of N-hance Revolutionary Wood Renewal, to refinish our kitchen cabinets. We were so pleased with his work that we had him come back and refinish the cabinets in our three bathrooms and our linen cabinets. He and his assistant, Aaron, did an excellent job. We highly recommend N-hance to anyone who wants to give their cabinets a fresh new look. The work is professional, clean and reasonably priced and we like to help the small businesses in our community."

Cabinet Refacing and Refinishing questions, answered by experts

Even the least DIY-savvy homeowner can replace cabinet hardware themselves. All you need is a drill, screwdriver, and a tape measure. However, always take the time to measure and fit carefully. Misalignment or dodgy drill holes can spoil the entire look of your cabinet makeover, and repairs or replacement cabinets can be costly.

Refinishing cabinets requires sanding and restoring them with paint, lacquer, or stain. Refacing cabinets involves removing and replacing existing cabinet doors and hardware. Refacing cabinets can be more costly. Refacing cabinets typically costs between $4,500 to $10,600

DIY refacing is possible if you're skilled in precise measurements, cutting, and finishing, but hiring professionals ensures a seamless finish and durable results.

While it’s possible to reface or refinish kitchen cabinets yourself, it requires substantial time, money, and sweat equity. In particular, cabinet refacing requires many tools and materials, costing you between $1,645 and $6,570, depending on what you already own. Besides that, this is a project that shows imperfections easily. If carpentry isn't your strong suit, hiring a cabinet professional is best to ensure high-quality results.

Any of your garage shelves should be able to hold heavier loads, but it’s best to place heavier items on middle shelves. The only reason for this is to prevent injury—lifting heavy loads from down low requires squatting or bending over, which can lead to back injury, and lifting heavy loads off of high shelves in the garage can be especially dangerous if you drop them.
