"The installers were great. The salesperson made promises that he did not keep and he missed a window. When the person came to measure he also didn’t catch that I was having all my windows done except one. The windows look great. The response when I notified the co that one window was missed was very fast but added to my cost."
"I love my new windows. Home Pros did an excellent job from start to finish. I highly recommend them. I will keep them in mind for my new kitchen countertops. Go Home Pros!!!!"
"My computer (Windows XP) was running very slow and had become almost inoperable. It was taking a very long time to process anything, especially anything to do with the internet. IE was taking 100% of the cpu most of the time. Jim worked on my computer remotely for several days defragging, cleaning, anti-virus, malware, etc., but could not get it to perform anywhere near where it should. We decided that I needed a new computer. Jim built me a new computer (Windows 7 with racing stripes). The new system works very well and I am pleased with it. When Jim switched my files over from old to new, the Kodak Easy-Share program with my pictures did not get transferred. He has promised to make that transfer when he installs a new door covering the DVD reader which was broken upon setup. I will update this review when this occurs. I am very pleased with the new system and would do it all over again if a similar situation were present. "
"Sales process was good, courteous and helpful. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Did have a small issue with one sensor which was easily solved with a call. Control panel is easy to use and well constructed. Phone app is the best part. Not a big fan of a 2 year contract and the monthly rate feels a little high, but definitely a decent system. I had emailed them a question pertaining installing on double hung windows and never received a reply, but other than that their phone support prior to that was good."
"I called the day on Thursday, got a few details and asked if they could detail my car on Friday. We set up an appointment at 2pm at my house. (Cool, points for availability). I had some errands to do on Friday but thought I could do them and make the 2pm. At 1:50pm I got a call from them saying that I was late for my 1:30pm appointment. I explained that the appointment was for 2pm and that I would be there in 5 minutes. I arrived at 1:55pm and they started detailing my car. I went in the house to wait. I checked on them a couple of times and it seemed that they had teams of people that specialized in different things because I saw different faces each time. After 2 hours, they rang my door bell to let me know that they were done. I examined the car and my first impression was that it looked like it had just been driven off the car lot. Looked great. When I looked a little closer I found a few issues. First, the front window was badly streaked. I mentioned it and they immediately started working on it. I then noticed that the head lamps had not been cleaned. They said that they would work on it but to really do it right I would need to purchase an additional package where they buffed the head lamps clean. I thought that I was paying a premium for the detailing service and expected this to be a part of the package but apparently not. (Negative points). I paid them the money, signed some paperwork and prepared to drive my car into the garage. I then noticed that I was missing my foot mats. Luckily, they were still in the driveway and I asked them about them. The guy said that they had put them aside so that they could dry and had forgot to put them back. He said that they were still wet and suggested that I leave them out so that I didn't develop mold in my car. He then got in the van and left. I examined the foot mats and immediately realized that they weren't wet. In fact, they were dusty and had never been cleaned. Disappointing! So, overall I was happy with how the car turned out. The car looks great. I have never had my car detailed before so I am not sure about my level of expectation. I did ask around and a few friends mentioned $200 for detailing. I had one friend that had a groupon for an $80 detailing. For the price I paid, I expected very minor issues. I didn't like that the guy lied to me about the foot mats and the head lamp cleaning should have been part of the service. Otherwise, I am happy with the service. The next time I detail my car, I will try a different detailer just to see if this is par for the course or that I should have demanded more. "
"We researched numerous providers in the Albuquerque area. We decided on Reule for various reasons. They were not the least expensive but we were searching for a company that would install a quality product in a manner that would ultimately be transparent. The method that Reule described, and ultimately delivered, resulted in essential perfection - from the outside you can not tell the windows are new - but the are! The method Reule used, and the matching to the stucco is amazing. They are so beautiful that we consider them art and are now trying to find window coverings that show them off from the interior. The windows that we had installed are Semco wood-clad. Steve Savage, who was our primary contact and sales person, ensured we understood the entire process and checked in often as the project progressed. There were a few bumps along the way that he addressed to our satisfaction. Steve matched our expectation for near perfection and worked with Bob Reule to come up with creative ways to solve problems that come up in dealing with older homes. The installation crew worked closely with Steve and was professional, respectful, and creative in the method they used to complete this complex project. The number of windows, some of them oversized, combined with the age of the house made it difficult. The crew chief, Manuel, ensured the day to day work was done with the same perfection the overall project exhibited. He communicated progress and next steps so we were kept in the loop throughout. We had very high expectations with this project and Reule exceeded them in every way. We can't recommend them enough.
"This is a first class operation. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by one of the owners, Phil. They did the work quickly and professionally. I've had several windows tinted over the years, and the quality here was outstanding. I've recommended them to other people. "

Mulled windows are no less efficient than individual windows, provided the wall opening is the same size. Larger wall openings filled with glass will always reduce overall energy efficiency, as glass transmits heat more readily than a solid wall. If the windows that are mulled together have the same square footage as individual windows, you might actually see a small decrease in your electric bills, as mulled windows let in more natural light that can reduce interior lighting costs.
When your double-hung window upper sash keeps falling down, it means you could be letting out warm air in the winter or cool air from the AC in the summer. That means your HVAC system works harder to warm or cool the house, costing you extra on electric bills.
If the lower sash continues to fall down, it means when you’ve popped open the window for fresh air, it could slam shut. In addition to being inconvenient, this could be dangerous if you have small kids, children, or pets that like to hang out by the window.
Bay windows are not easy to install because they are heavy and require specific tools and woodworking experience. You’ll also need to install a roof cab, flashing, and shingles. Ensuring the window is level and sealed can be tricky but it is important because it prevents air leakage and water from entering your home. Most often, an experienced window pro should install bay windows.
Yes, egress windows are grandfathered. However, this comes with some specifications. If you are remodeling a basement or adding a sleeping area, you’ll need to update the egress windows to be up to proper code. But, if you’re leaving your home as is, you do not have to adhere to these requirements.
No, it’s not normal for windows to rattle in the wind. If they do, it may signal that there’s a larger problem at play. Common reasons that windows rattle in the wind are because the glass isn’t secure enough, the frame is loose, or the wood is rotting. In any of these cases, you should identify the problem and take steps to fix it.
