"The control panel needed a new battery pack installer did not have. 3eMissed one indoor window needing a sensor, and garage door open sensor is needed. Appt. times are not accurate so allow for extra time ! Low battery alarm beeped once every minute overnight so I lowered volume. Garage door sensor is on backorder. This install may get completed when? Unknown.
I could also use 2 more sensors.
Our insurance company said that since we have no smoke or fire alarm protection they cannot give us a bigger discount on our homeowners policy.

It was like **** getting it set up (you self install the sensors on windows and doors, this was a horrible experience for me). The rep was very helpful. After setting it up I called the company and someone helped 'name' each sensor (we were on the phone for 8 hours doing this). The guy was very helpful and patient, even when I started crying over the phone. BUT still I would probably do it again. A great company. It's up to each person if they want someone to install a different company's equipment or if they want to set up each frontpoint sensor themselves. "For the last four years it's all been good, until recently when we were out of town and the alarm went off. The monitoring company called us and told us an alarm went off and when I asked if they called the police they said no they diddn't because we don't have a alarm certification for our city. I wasn't even aware of this for all these years. And on countless calls with customer service for more equipment they never mentioned that they had no certificate on file. When I called the customer service they tried to blame me, stating that "it's the homeowner's responsibility to get the certificate." I replied that's fine but why didn't you all tell me I didn't have it. All these years I thought the police or fire would be called. It's just poor service. They never helped other than to give me a number and call the other department the next day. I decided I wasn't going to renew with them. They clearly don't really have a Customer Relationship System nor do they care to worry about their customer's well being if they would let something as important as this lapse and have no recourse to correct. The excuse of the rep was "well, we have thousands of customers and we don't have a system that would tell us if this were missing." What a lame excuse. If they are so antiquated to not even be able to track client information, service level and what is still missing, I can't believe they would do a good job to protect my family.  So, equipment is fine but make sure you get a company that will be proactive in suggesting ways to protect your family, not just sell you more equipment."
