They broke it into two jobs, so I had to wait 2 weeks for them to come back, cut a hole in my new roof, and install the skylight. That part of the job was shoddy - they came with no tarps or ladder. When they cut a hole (2 holes because they misjudged the placement of the first one) they allowed all the plaster and 70-year old insulation to fall directly on my living room floor. Plaster dust permeated my house. It was then that they told me they didn't do sheetrock work, so I had to get a different contractor to complete the skylight job. A week passed with 2 gaping holes in my living room ceiling. The next week, I hired a very professional crew who arrived with plastic sheeting, proper equipment and finished the job. Overall what should've been a 1-day job took 3 weeks elapsed time and more money than was quoted. And two different contractors."
