"Very good. First, what ever time he said his crew would be at my home each day, they were there. Second, attention to detail was great. Paint was on what portion of the house it was suppose to be on. No sloppy paint job. Use traps on the ground, covered windows when spraying painting, and used good quality paints from Sherman Williams. Will hire again."

"I got a response from Brian within about 2 days. He and his counterpart, Larry, came over and evaluated our home's needs. Brian explained the process and gave me an estimate for the work that they felt needed to be done. Brian emailed me the prices and the work that they would do. I felt informed and was treated with complete respect and courtesy (Note: this was important to me because folks in the building field have often been patronizing and rude to me. I have attributed it to my gender after watching them be more appropriate with my husband.) When I was ready they were here within about another 2 days. My house now looks almost new and we are very pleased! I had received estimates from about 4 or 5 other companies, prior to this, and their estimates were 2 to 6 times what Adobe Painting quoted me. This and the fact that the Angie's list rating for Adobe was A+ persuaded me to hire them. I'm glad that I did!"

"Ordonez put up my fence quickly; it looks great, and reasonably priced. Actually two of my neighbors called ordonez after he completed my fence and got their fences put up as well. If a fence is what you need, you won't go wrong with ordonez."

"It went extremely well. The back wall fence was put in within one day. I am very pleased that it only took one day and the fence is beautiful. It is a 6 ft fence and provides the privacy screen that I and my back neighbor both wanted across the back of the backyard. I am very pleased with it."

Fence Painting questions, answered by experts

A five-gallon bucket of deck stain will cover roughly 875 square feet in a single coat. Actual coverage will vary based on the type of wood you’re staining and the number of coats. If you plan on doing multiple coats, multiply the square footage by the number of coats to calculate how many buckets of stain you’ll need.

Wood stain is not flammable after it dries. The solvent in wood stain is what causes the liquid form to be highly flammable, but the stain drying process involves the solvents dissolving, which leaves behind a non-flammable product on your wood project. Wood stain is, however, flammable before you apply it, so you should always store partially full cans and used wood stain rags away from sources of heat and open flames.

Wood stains last anywhere from two to five years, depending on exposure to the elements, your local climate, the type of stain, and the surface it’s on. For instance, vertical surfaces last longer than horizontal surfaces. Some types of woods, like dense hardwoods, will require a recoat yearly, as they are too dense for the stain to absorb. In any event, apply a recoat every 2 to 4 years. As for storage, a can of unopened stain can last up to 5 years, though results may vary.

Yes, you can waterproof any wood that has not already been treated. A good way to test this is to splash some water on it. If the water starts to bead up, the wood is treated and most likely doesn’t need another coating.

DIY is possible but presents risks of uneven surfaces or improper adhesion; professionals offer expertise to ensure a lasting finish.
