"We purchased a new home and worked with Abran Ganzalez to install new lighting and ceiling fans throughout the house. Mr. Ganzalez was very professional in scheduling and completing the work. He was also extremely helpful in suggesting placement and types of lights and switches to install. I was completely satisfied will would be delighted to work with him again on future electrical projects. I would highly recommend AKA Electric without reservations."

"These folks are AMAZING! I scheduled with this company on 2 occasions but both times an emergency came up at work and I had to cancel the appointment. They were so patient and understanding of my cancellations. They gave me an opportunity to reschedule immediately or later at my convenience. I have never dealt with such professionals from the office staff to the mechanic who called to say he was on his way to my home! I will DEFINITELY will book with them for this service and every other future service! R. Sanchez"

"The electrician was very professional. He was on time. He repaired a plug, which want ,unchanged work, but since the appliance had caught on fire, he could have told us anything, and we would have believed him, so I think he was honest and charged less, than I had expected."

"Our solar project was great. The experience from beginning to end was a good experience. We are happy with the sales, installation, and performance of our panels. From the time we signed up to the actual install, our sales rep, Chad DeLong, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The installers were in and out and we have had zero issues with anything since then. I check my app all the time to see how it is doing. We got a rebate from xcel last year which was also nice."

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

Charging your EV every night isn’t always necessary. Most EVs have sufficient range to cover daily commutes without needing a nightly charge, particularly if you have a Level 2 charger. Charging once every few days or as needed can prolong the battery’s lifespan.

The cost of installing a 240-volt outlet for an electric car averages between $175 and $300. Depending on the type of outlet as well as labor costs, you might pay as little as $130 or upwards of $400. Hiring a professional electrician makes up the bulk of the expense but ensures a safe and code-compliant installation.

Upgrading your electrical system can save you money on your monthly utility bills by powering your home more efficiently. Electrification nonprofit Rewiring America estimates that a household could save $1,800 per year on energy bills by upgrading to a modern electric heat pump, switching to a heat pump for their water, installing solar panels on the roof, and converting to an electric vehicle.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.
