New Mexico Satellite Man

John and his brother Dan did a great job installing an outdoor OTA antenna for us. Their pricing is reasonable, the work was clean and professional, and best of all, we now get strong, clear digital TV signals! I'll be calling them for a future CAT5 Ethernet wiring project. I highly recommend them.

We have used New Mexico Satellite Man 4 times now at 2 locations. John always does fantastic work. We have used him for 2 antenna installations, multiple tv mountings, and a cable drop. I would gladly use John again!

John was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We discussed my needs and he installed an antenna and connected it to my existing cable box. The antenna works perfectly and serves multiple televisions within the house via the house wide cable network. Now I can enjoy watching tv again without the monthly price associated with cable. I'm very happy!

John did a great job installing our new antenna and explaining what he was doing. Definitely call him on his cell (from his website) rather than emailing him on here or his email. He's a phone guy.

He was great. The best way to contact him is by phone rather than by the email system in Angie's List. He was very responsive, obviously knows his work extremely well, and I could not be more pleased with how the whole experience. I have worked with numerous contractors over the past year in the course of a cross-country move, and he is one of the best two of the group.

He spent the time needed to find the best location for the antenna. Installation was fast and clean.

John arrived right on time, answered all my questions and provided excellent service at a reasonable price.  He made sure that the antenna wires were not visible and we now get 50 free HDTV channels!  John was polite, very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with.

Needed to switch my Mothers from an expensive satellite package to free over the air programming. John scheduled the appointment for thee next day, communicated clearly about when he would be there and called again as he set out for our appointment. He whirled in with his assistant and they both moved efficiently and quickly through the house, identifying all of the coaxial cable outlets and mapping out what went where. He connected up the equipment, gathered up all the satellite boxes for us. Entire process took an hour. The price for getting it done that quickly, and the delight in my Mother's eye when her HD television lit up with a picture that was easily 10x better than the quality she was receiving from satellite service, made it an exceptional value.

Just as all of the reviews have said, John was terrific!  He was professional, upbeat, efficient, and personable.  It's rare to find service like that anymore.  I would use him again, in a minute, and I plan to get the word out.  Ditch the cable and have John install an antenna for you!

John is a top-flight installer for a competing satellite service yet he installed our new dish on our new home, aimed the dish and we were back on DTV right away.  He returned a few days later and installed the cell repeater and we have cell service in a dead area.  Note that this is not John's usual line of installation, but together we did a great job getting the Wilson Amplifier working, and as usual, all of the wiring was excellent.  This is our third such job since October 2013.

John came out to our home in Placitas,NM ,where tv reception can be iffy. He first checked to see if he could receive a signal and was successful with a much smaller antenna than I thought would be needed. He then disconnected our 2 Direct TV boxes and hooked up a ROKU streaming device to see if it would work. It was also successful! He was very patient and explained everything I needed to know about how to use this new technology. He was very professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly. I would highly recommend him to others!

John and I exchanged several e-mails regarding the nature of the service I wanted. I live in an area where television reception is a problem and John was aware that and quot;commodityand quot; antennae were insufficient. I was willing to accept the risk of choosing an appropriate antenna for my application if John would install it.
There was some delay between my decision to move ahead and John's confirmation that he would provide the service, but John apologized for this and my ability to watch TV was not impacted (I've been using clear QAM through Comcrap).
When John arrived to do the work he was prepared and energetic. Our plan had been to simply hoist the antenna to check reception and then complete the installation at a subsequent date. But things went so well that John went ahead and affixed the antenna to my house.
His creativity, insight, experience, and flexibility led to a professional installation that met my needs and exceeded my expectations.
