"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. "Overall it went well. We had a few date/day changes that worked out though I stress when I need to adjust my work schedule. I work full time and have learned that I need to be on -site when work is done by independents. I also have 3 dogs that need to be managed. "The contractor put together a ceiling fan and installed it.  He was unable to complete the other jobs, which I did myself.  I had to take the initiative to get ahold of him, and he also got lost coming to my place, so it was late by the time he got here.  The first time, I was missing a part.  So, I went to the store and got the part.  The next day, the contractor didn't show up, so i contacted him again, and he came and installed the fan.
Honestly, the store where I bought the fan would have installed it for less money than I paid this contractor.  I thought that he would be able to do more than that, but it didn't work out.  That's why I say it was not a good price for me.
He is a nice, friendly and trustworthy person and he did a good job on the installation.  The sink handle he was not able to fix, but he told me what to do, and I did it myself.  The other job is still not done, as I'm waiting for the right part.
