"Harald Christiansen is a painter who lives in Rio Rancho, NM. Recently Harold painted the interior of my house. I can't say enough good things about the job he did. Harold took a great deal of care in his work and was very thorough in all aspects of the job. Before starting painting, he was also very open to my ideas, and or suggestions. Throughout the job, he communicated anything that needed to be changed or addressed along the way so there were no surprises. Also, I felt him to be very honest in all his dealings with me. I felt very fortunate to have had such a positive experience in getting my house painted."

"Bobby and Accent Painting are the best! It is a small company which I prefer which stresses satisfaction for their customers. Accent Painting has performed at least 3 jobs at my residence. They have painted various internal rooms and also painted the outside of our 3400 square foot stucco home. They applied the paint with rollers to make sure the coverage was adequate and all trim was done by hand with brushes. Accent painting has also done painting for my family members and they also have been very happy with Accent's performance and service. Their prices are extremely fair based on their services which included moving furniture. They are our "go to" painting service! Thanks Bobby."

"We were very happy with the service provided by 360 Painting While they were not the lowest estimate we received, they were well worth the additional minimal investment.. Chris showed-up at the agreed upon time and provided a very detailed estimate. On the first day of this 5-day project, Chris and Teresa showed-up as scheduled and walked the project with their crew and us. On each subsequent day, the crew was timely and pleasant, worked efficiently, took care to protect surfaces not being painted (floors, fireplace, etc.), and cleaned up at the end of each day. Teresa was on site each morning to answer questions, address concerns and inspect the work done the previous day. She also performed a very thorough inspection at the end of the project. We would not hesitate to work with them again."

"Bill did an excellent job of filling, sanding, and painting the columns, vigas, and latillas. For the wood under the portal where we wanted to maintain stain, he did a beautiful job of matching the wood and making the filled areas look natural. He also painted our ductwork and other metal components to color match the stucco, repairing the stucco in a few places along the way. Bill is extremely reliable, meticulous in his cleanup, and fairly priced. Our next door neighbors saw Bill's work and hired him for their project."

"Abraham was prompt, professional and did and extremely wonderful job. We originally started with 4 areas to paint, but expanded to nearly the entire house, both inside and out, due to his quality of work. I highly recommend him."

"I had to repair the parapet and cracks on almost every walls of a very old house. The stucco was painted by previous owner. I chose to repair the parapet and paint the repaired part only since Alvaro from Blusky said he can match the paint and texture pretty well ('90-95%'). I had 3 bids for the job. There were two bids with comparable prices. I chose Blusky because Alvaro is genuine and explained the processes and expectations of different options very well. The result came out great. You cannot tell which part has been repaired on the wall because of accurate color and texture match. This is the most important part, For the parapet, you can tell where the repair interface if you look carefully from the texture aspect but not the color. The team did such a good job that the neighbor contacted him to get theirs repaired too. I will definitely recommend him to my friends without reservation.

"I highly recommend Kevin & Kerry! They are responsive, responsible, and provide quality professional painting services. We were very impressed with their prepping - they were very careful with our artwork and furniture and did extra preparations when needed. Kerry has a keen eye for color and was very helpful in making paint choices that gave our home the “pop” I was looking for....in addition they are both interesting & friendly people!"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

Yes, vinegar can remove polyurethane from wood, but it is a slow, inefficient, and inconsistent restoration method. Whatever your intention, it’s best to avoid using vinegar on wood with a polyurethane finish—though it can be an effective cleaner for other wood finishes.

To remove paint from brick with vinegar, you can use the vinegar in much the same way you would paint stripper. However, vinegar needs significantly more time to soak into the paint. Apply the vinegar with a spray bottle, let it soak in, then scrub the paint's surface.

If you’re painting your home or monitoring a job as it’s being completed, squash the issue ASAP if you notice paint is getting onto the roof. Keeping it clean is one of the keys to extending your roof’s life.

Removing latex paint before it dries is much easier and lowers the risk of damaging your shingles (more on that below). Simply spray the spot with a hose for one to two minutes to clear away the drying paint. In general, this is a good way to remove ugly stains from your roof without using chemicals.

First off, take a breath. The good news is that interior paint, especially when used outside, won’t harm your health. The bad news is that you’re going to have to reapply the proper exterior paint at some point in the not-so-distant future. Otherwise the current coat will chip, crack, and fade, or worse, develop mold or an insect infestation without remediation.
