"David came on a Friday evening after a tree fell on our power line and we lost power to our well. He connected the well to our house line and was able to get us power to the well again in a couple hours. He was prompt, eager to work and completed the job well."

Small jobs welcome

"Jafet and his crew installed our Christmas lights to perfection. They all worked hard and used quality products. Their quality of work is excellent as their work ethic. They were all very polite and knowledgeable too. Will definitely hire again for many landscaping projects."

"Hired A Security Solution to install fencing for me. I was so pleased with Erik and the work his guys did that I have now hired them to remodel my 2 bathrooms, install laminate wood floors in my whole house, and build a planter for me. The cost is very reasonable and Dawn their interior decorator has been super helpful with designing the bathrooms all while meeting my needs and wants. Great company! I highly recommend them."

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

No, you shouldn’t insert an LED light into an incandescent socket. It usually won’t fit anyway, but in the unlikely chance that it does, its electrical demands are too different for it to work properly.

Permanent lights can save you big in labor costs down the line, as you’ll only need to invest in installing them once. As with regular lights, costs vary based on the display and the size of your home. Costs are similar to hanging regular lights, typically falling between $220 and $650

Yes, many services include removal as part of the package. Confirm with your provider.

Several options for hanging Christmas lights won't damage gutters. Using shingle clips avoids any hardware contact with them, and using plastic gutter clips minimizes the likelihood of scratching gutters. Remember not to rest a ladder, especially a metal one, against the gutters, and use a ladder stand-off device or stabilizer if you need to use an extension ladder.

Yes, tackling blown fuses and broken light bulbs is definitely safe. Fixing the wiring on a strand of Christmas lights isn’t a good idea, though, because of the danger of shock and fire. However, if you don’t feel comfortable working with any type of electricity, consider hiring a professional Christmas light installer to manage the job safely and efficiently.
