Customers say: True professional

"We chose Summersweet because of the innovative design by the owner (Eric Jaramillo) and pricing comparable to other bids. Eric made a few minor modifications based on our input but the plan was pretty much as he originally envisioned. He is experienced and knows what he is doing him. Trust him! We did and everything came out beautifully. His workers were polite, efficient, showed up when agreed and did a great job. We could not be more pleased and highly recommend Summersweet. "Our experience with Milligan Scapes was great! We got estimates and while Milligan wasn't the cheapest, we felt very comfortable with Gary and the planned system. They came on a Tuesday and were finished on that Thursday. Both Tim and Franklin were exceptional workers and everything turned out great. I definitely recommend them for any type of work. We are going to have Milligan replace our driveway. So glad to have found a responsible company."

"This company built a French drain to move water in an area that floods. The project went well and the work was very fast and they came prepared. They also installed a path with railroad ties and gravel so that we can safely walk down the hill to our garden. Lastly, Ernie and his crew moved railroad ties to help us access our property. The price was very fair and the estimate was very accurate: No surprises! These guys care and are very honest. No BS. I would use them again."

"The job went extremely well.  Guillermo and his crew are professional and dependable and there was no additional clean up when they left.  Guillermo is meticulus and the finished product is beautiful.  We are very happy with the work done and would hire Wildfire again.  We highly recommend this company!

"The foreman kept close watch on all work as it was done. My only complaint was spotty communication, for example, not letting me know
that the workers wouldn't be at my house on a certain day, or that they didn't work on Fridays. The job also took quite a bit longer than I was initially told. All in all, however, I am very pleased with the results.
My yard is beautiful, appropriate for a desert environment and uses much less water than it did previously. Once the plants and trees get
established and fill out, the yard will look even more amazing and will burst with a variety of colors throughout the year. I am planning to
have additional stone work done on my rock wall and fire pit later this year, and on the patio next year.I am very happy with the final product. I was impatient to get the work finished, and it sometimes seemed that progress was slow, but the yard looks awesome. It also seems much more inviting and usable than it did before this work was done."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Backyard water features can add serenity to your property, drown out neighborhood noise, and serve as a focal point to a stunning landscape design. In some cases, a properly installed and maintained water feature can add to your home’s value. Just be sure to check with your insurance company before installation since some features may affect your premiums.

Most pond installations take 3-10 days, depending on excavation, liner placement, and filtration setup.

When deciding whether or not to turn off your pump, you should consider your area’s climate and the aquatic life in your pond. If you live in an area with freezing winter temperatures and don’t have any wildlife, keeping your pump on could damage it. If you have aquatic life but live in a colder climate, you might consider keeping your pump running and adding a pond heater.

Though there are a lot of factors that go into caring for a koi pond, the most important maintenance you can do is frequent water checks using a koi pond test strip that checks the water for dangerous conditions.  In addition to regular pond maintenance costs, you’ll also need to winterize your koi pond if you live in a colder area.

In short, yes, a pond can add to your home’s value. However, whether it adds value will depend on the condition and aesthetic of your pond. Having this feature already built into a yard’s home can be appealing to homebuyers who value its aesthetic and would prefer not to build it themselves. But if it is not kept in good condition, it could turn buyers away.
