"Our radiant heating system is 18 years old. We have used 3 different companies in the fall and the spring to come out and turn the system on and off. Since October the pressure has been low and we noticed the system was failing. We consulted with one of the previous contractors after we noticed the heat was not coming on, although the pilot light remained on. After a few weeks, the system failed again. I googled radiant heat specialists and noticed that Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling had a repair service, specifically, for radiant heating systems. The next morning they replaced the pressure tank and the pressure relief valve, tightened up leaking boiler pipes, removed the air pockets from the radiant floor pipes, and moved the pressure tank closer to the ceiling. They showed us what to look for on the gauges, what pressure to maintain when the boiler is on and off, how to determine if the boiler pump isnâ t working.
