As a single woman running my own home and being very particular.....it is extremely important to be able to discuss the job, hear all the details, and employ someone who is honest, honorable, well qualified, neat, and highly informed. I first hired Rob for the drain problem. He accomplished that efficiently and neatly at a reasonable price. We discussed options for a back up for the sump pump. Having a finished basement, I am always concerned about water. I have never lost electricity during a rain storm....but the possibility always takes up space in my brain. I have a portable generator....but I have to be home to start it. Today Rob arrived on time and installed the back up for me. It took the whole morning as he predicted. Oh....one more thing...he noticed a leak in my fairly new furnace exhaust piping. 2nd time I used Affordable Rooter at my house.  1st time was just to clear a clogged drain.  This time was for a leaking drain and vent pipe that were improperly installed by the previous owner.  Both time I used him he showed up on time, was responsive and did clean / neat work.  This was a rather difficult spot to work inside the cabinet, but was able to do everything without having to pull the cabinet / countertop or backsplash apart which was important for me.

I would highly recommend their services.

"VanGo was contacted to do a mold inspection but after my description deemed it probably wasn't mold. He offered to check it out anyway AND to install/set up a dehumidifier and fans in my basement. Bob is extremely flexible as I've yet to buy the dehumidifier and fans he needs for the setup. He was prompt in returning every text/email and phone call. Once I purchase the equipment he'll come and set them up for me. He also took the specs of my basement and recommended what to buy. I look forward to getting everything set up.
