"First of all let me say this. If you are in the Bergen County NJ area and are savvy with online reviews then you will most likely do what I did and get 4-5 estimates from the 4-5 best rated/highest reviewed companies on angies list/google reviews/homeadvisor etc. Which includes Purely Waters Kinetico system (approx $3000, avoid it). Passaic Bergen Water softening and Advanced Water (Both companies owned by the same person now since 2017). NMP Water Systems is without a doubt the BEST company out of all the top choices. I consider my self a good judge of character and have renovated my home for almost 100k in the past few years so I have dealt with many contractors. This company, by far, was the most professional, knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy out of the 5 companies my wife and I interviewed. No salesman and sales pitches at all!! Tim, the owner, absolutely did whats best for us and took all of our concerns into account. He's the one that suggested an extra spigot to wash my car with soft water and only charged us $100 extra to do so. He used pex tubing and copper piping. He took his time in creating a seamless install. He even offered to run the RO water through our refrigerator as well so that the ice would be treated and so we would never have to spend money of frig filters again!! Tim was also the only person that suggested leaving the RO system in the basement rather than under my kitchen sink to save on space and then when he installed the tubing up to the kitchen sink, my wife and I, were amazed how great of an idea that was. The 2 employees that worked with Tim were incredibly professional and well spoken. They put down several tarps over the wooden floors/rugs etc. When they left and we went to inspect our basement, you could hardly tell anyone was there for 5 hours. Their ability to finish and provide amazing customer service was really refreshing. We didn't have to repeat ourselves over and over again to make sure everything was installed the way Tim and I discussed. NMP also was the only company that offered us a 10 yr warranty on PARTS and LABOR for both systems! NMP's price just also happened to be the most competitive for the exact same product other companies were offering. Tim and the crew were punctual during the 1st appointment and the subsequent install and we couldn't be happier! Tim also applied for permits with the town of Fair Lawn and did not charge extra to do so. Thank you NMP for such great work and for relieving us of the stress of hiring a water treatment contractor. For anyone reading this review, please consider, at least, getting an estimate from NMP so you can see why I'm so enthusiastic about my experience. "I don't have enough good things to say about Rob. He was friendly and knowledgeable from first contact. He was able to come out the same day and give an accurate quote. He kept in contact until the day of the install. He arrived on time on the day of the install and finished promptly. He had to climb over the washer and dryer AFTER it was stacked in the closet to complete the install. Rob brought all the tools and pieces necessary and left no mess. Rob was a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend him without reservation. His prices were fair for the amount of work he did and I will definitely use him in the future should we need."

"On this particular house I purchased last year water was going into basement a lot of water Rodney suggested trenching the problem side .They graded the side away from house dug about 2 foot deep trench out about 80 feet out toward the back lower side , put in large 6 inch drainpipes and covered it with crushed stone ,WOW what a difference this was a tremendous problem the sump pump now hardly ever go on this was huge for me . I have used Rodney and Kay before on other homes I own , Great work every time over the last 5 years."

2nd time I used Affordable Rooter at my house.  1st time was just to clear a clogged drain.  This time was for a leaking drain and vent pipe that were improperly installed by the previous owner.  Both time I used him he showed up on time, was responsive and did clean / neat work.  This was a rather difficult spot to work inside the cabinet, but was able to do everything without having to pull the cabinet / countertop or backsplash apart which was important for me.

"I live in a condo/townhome complex, and after much 'discussion' with the Complex Management about a problem, I decided to have it done on my own, so I could either determine the problem or rule out a possible cause of the problem. To do that, needed one of the outside drainpipe/downspouts scoped out to see where the water was actually draining to. I've been having problems with dampness on the walls in my (now torn apart) lower level, and I needed to see if there was a break in any of the seams of the PVC pipe the water drained into that was near that area of my foundation.
Originally, my appointment was scheduled for the May 8th (2013), but Lisa (office mgr) called to ask if I would mind postponing
since they were in the midst of an emergency job, and needed everyone on-site there. Since my appointment was NOT an emergency, I didn't mind the postponement. We re-scheduled for 2 days later (10th). Paul showed up on time, and after showing him the situation, he got right to work.
He brought out his scoping tool and after disassembling the downspout at the PVC opening, he sent the scope/camera thru the PVC drain without any blockages or cracks. I was able to watch on the monitor as the camera was sliding thru the pipe. After he was finished, and we both were convinced the drain was NOT the problem, he was kind enough to suggest/recommend another venue to explore for correcting the problem, and he documented it on my paperwork for the association management to see.
And because everything went so quickly and easily (he was here for a total of about 15 minutes!), Paul discounted
the original quote of $350 to $250 + tax. Made me VERY happy! Thanks, Paul!

Mo was nice enough to talk on the phone to the person in the store and explain in detail what part my wife needed for the installation. "I have hired Tanzer Sprinklers for 2 jobs now. Their service is excellent. On the first job the salesman came out and had all the literature pertaining to the products he was going to install. The prices were very competitive. I had 3 estimates done. Tanzer was not the cheapest, however they were giving me the best equipment. When I asked other estimates for the exact same setup/equipment, they couldn't do better. The installation team is also excellent. They took care of my property and I got to watch them use advanced equipment for the first system install, and for the second install on our new home they had to dig trenches by hand in the rain. They did it like the pros they are. Very happy with both jobs they did and I would highly recommend them."

"We had a backup in the basement laundry room and Rob was very understanding that we needed his help quickly.  Rob and Jake came hours later, setup a staging area, emptied, wiped, cleaned, power washed, treated and worked their magic.  They absolutely got rid of the odor, debris, ruined product and left the room in the best condition it has ever been in, period.  They even cleaned my nasty wet vac!!  They returned the next day after everything was dry and put back in place.  We could not be happier with the professionalism, courteousness and overall care for our house and satisfaction.  Clearly this is a service in a desperate situation and we felt that these guys completely removed any fear of this happening again, as we would simply call them from our phone and know all would be fine.
