"John Paulikas installed an EV charger at my home and did a fantastic job. He was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything along the way, showed up on time, and kept the work area clean. The install went smoothly and the charger works perfectly. It’s obvious John takes pride in his work and cares about doing things the right way. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician, especially for EV charger installation."

"The job went extremely well. They walked me thru the light fixture selection process, taking time to guide options. Worked with me to select the location of lights and the outlets. Install went very well and clean up was great. They took their time during the circuit tracing and made me aware of of the inconsistencies in the wiring. Excellent work, great pricing. Definitely would recommend to any of my friends and family."

"Could not have asked for better more professional workmanship. Serge and Nick were always on time and worked from the moment that arrived to the moment they left. When the left the room was clean and Serge was good about explaining what had been done and what they would be doing the next day.The room looks fantastic; better than i ever would have expected. I will definitely hire them back again for our next remodeling project."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

The light that your ceiling light gives off will largely depend on the type of light bulb that’s installed in it. If you’re looking to brighten a dark room, LED bulbs are the way to go. LED bulbs will emit the most light while also using less energy than standard bulbs. They can last up to 50,000 hours and will need to be replaced much less often than standard bulbs.

Installing recessed lights requires you to cut holes in the ceiling, create an electrical wiring connection, install the fixture, and connect it to your service panel. It should only be done by those with electrical skills, due to the safety concerns it presents.

If you feel uneasy about taking it on yourself, it’s recommended to contact a local technician to complete the installation for you.

A wall-mounting light fitting is called a sconce. Traditionally, sconces were placed along walls in a home to hold candles or torches for lighting. The electrical counterparts with lightbulbs serve an identical purpose, often lighting up hallways. Sconces come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Changing a light fixture mounted on a wall requires the same basic steps as replacing a ceiling light.

Track lighting typically needs to be hardwired, connecting directly to the electrical wiring in your ceiling for a permanent and reliable power source. Hardwiring provides a clean and professional look with no visible cords. However, plug-in track lighting options can be connected to a standard electrical outlet, offering easier installation and flexibility. The choice between hardwired and plug-in track lighting depends on your needs, preferences, and existing electrical setup.

No, there aren’t additional code requirements for kitchen lights. Kitchen lights and other electrical circuits in the kitchen have different code requirements. Outlets need to be particularly robust because of their frequency of use and proximity to liquids. If you need help determining where to install outlets in your kitchen, consult a local electrician who can ensure that placement is functional and up to code.
