After starting the work replacing a few boards, he discovered how bad our deck was (we knew it was very old but didn’t realize how bad it was until the boards were taken up). "I hired Aztec for major repairs due to termite damage. They were prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They came in less than 10 days after we contacted them to FINISH the work. First, they evaluated the damage and walked me through the needed repairs which included placing three new steel support beams along with two main horizontal wood beams and several sistered beams. They were able to complete the work, once they started, in three days. At each step, I was informed of progress and there were no surprises (from my end). The work included everything from removing electrical wiring and then replacing it, pouring the new steel vertical support beams, affixing them solidly into my concrete floor, and then pacing the numerous horizontal beams. I could not recommend AZtec (and Greg!) more."

Colored Stamped Concrete?s installation of our new patio and walkway was a very positive experience from the start.   Fred was responsive and professional every step of the way.   He arrived on time for the initial estimate, was available for questions, and returned at a time convenient to my wife?s work schedule to walk through design options.   Fred stood behind his original quote and worked with us and provided sound advice as we finalized our style and color.   We also found the price to be competitive as we did price several other contractors, including pavers. 

Colored Stamped Concrete was also accommodating in scheduling our job.  Once the permit was approved work started the next business day as promised and completed on scheduled.   When I inspected the final work, the high quality and attention to detail was very evident.   Highly recommended, exceeded expectations!  We would not hesitate to use Colored Stamped Concrete again.

"We used quality 1st on two occasions in the past year to address water in the basement of our brownstone. They first addressed the problem from the crawlspace - installed a sump pump, water guard trench, and cleanspace wall system (they also added support to the ceiling, which is the floor of a kitchen above). Their approach was sound, the cost was fair, and we were very happy with their service and the work itself. They then returned to address water coming in from the main basement area - we worked together on a reasonable approach that included adding a 2nd sump pump, a water guard trench and cleanspace wall system only where needed. This required a lot of coordination and communication with our plumber as well - all went smoothly, work was performed and cleaned up professionally. So far, so good! I am in construction myself and I reviewed their approach with other professionals including an engineer, and I have a lot of confidence in their products, their pricing, and their work."
