"I got to meet one of the owners Todd, and he was great at explaining everything carefully and ensuring that the bugs at our house were all exterminated. I am only giving 4.5 stars for now because the job is not finished, but he really cares about the treatment and gave us a 90 day plan to make sure that we would no longer have a cockroach infestation. We also have a small puppy, so he made sure to explain to us that the stuff he used was safe. Overall, I really had a great experience with Gotham Pest Control!"

"I?m based in Montclair and had a really good experience with Inspect Pest Control. They were a huge help with both carpenter ants and termites, which had been stressing me out for a while. From the first visit, they were professional but also very easy to talk to. They explained what was going on in plain language and didn?t make it feel overwhelming. What I appreciated most was the communication?they actually kept me in the loop and followed up, which you don?t always get with companies like this. Overall, they made a tough situation a lot easier to deal with, and the results speak for themselves. I?d definitely recommend Inspect Pest Control if you?re dealing with pest issues."

"I was happy with the first application that I didn't need to call for the second. I thought they were gonna be coming out on a regular basis because that's what most of those companies do but I guess they needed the call each time. The second application didn't go as good and since I bought that late in the season, I didn't get the full five or six treatments that I actually paid for so I used the credit that they gave me towards another pest problem at my daughter's house. They were nice enough to accommodate me there."

"Good phone response. Good work on gutters and roof. Sometimes they show up too early, so specify if you do not want workers on your roof before 8am."

Customers say: True professional

"Todd the applicator was punctual for the scheduled appointment. He's very professional, as well as very informative and experienced with my Ant problem. He got right to the source of the Ant infestation in my apartment. After he treated my apartment for the Ants, I have not seen any Ant activity. I would definitely recommend him to any family and friends with pest issues."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

False chinch bugs are generally smaller and somewhat paler than true chinch bugs, although they otherwise look similar. The name is a bit of a misnomer: They act very similarly and both feed on plants by sucking out their juices. However, chinch bug feeding tends to be very destructive to the plant, while strangely the false chinch bug does relatively little damage.

Regular lawn care keeps snakes away because it eliminates common hiding places. You can deter snakes by trimming grass, shrubs, and trees and removing weeds from your lawn and gardens. Clear away leaves and other debris that could serve as a potential snake habitat. You can also seal entry points around building perimeters and install metal snake fencing.

Keeping birds away from a porch can involve a combination of strategies. Start with cleaning your porch. Remove food, debris, and plants that may be attracting feathered friends. Afterward, install physical deterrents like netting or spikes. Next, top off your porch with a decoy or two—and owl or hawk works. When wondering how to keep birds off the porch, it is always best to use humane efforts that won't harm winged creatures or the environment.

Yes, it’s possible for bats in your attic to find a way into your living spaces. Until you can properly remove the bats, the best course of action is to keep the attic doors closed and any holes sealed. Evidence suggests bats follow the airflow in your home, so they may try escaping from the attic to other parts of the house.

Adult fleas can live from a few days to about two weeks without a host. If pets are not available, fleas may feed on rodents or people. While adult fleas need a blood source to survive, flea pupae can lie dormant for up to a year in optimal conditions. Therefore, cleaning and treating the infested area is essential to prevent pupae from surviving and hatching later.
