"I live in a house that is over 100 years old with a stone foundation that also forms the basement walls. The old mortar between the stones had deteriorated over the years to the point that water would seep in in multiple places along the perimeter of the basement wall. This seepage basically occurred after every rain, and I always needed to move objects stored in the basement away from the perimeter for fear that they would be water damaged. I actually wasn’t very confident that the seepage problem could be fixed, but I finally decided to contact several basement contractors to determine if there was anyway to waterproof the basement. I ultimately decided to hire Basement Gurus because Mike (initial company contact) sold me on the idea and that their workers were the best in the business. Well, it’s been seven weeks since the basement work was completed, and even though we’ve had a couple of nor’easters with heavy rain blow through the area, the basement has been bone dry; the basement work has been a resounding success! I take my hat off to all the good folks at Basement Gurus, in particular Mark, Dylan, Lenny and the other members of the team that worked hard to waterproof my basement. "We used Merryfield for this siding project, which was part of a kitchen remodel.  Our contractor did not specialize in siding and asked that we have the work performed by someone else.  We needed siding installed where a window was being eliminated to make room for additional cabinets.  The process was easy for this project, from estimate to completion.  They worked within the requests of our kitchen contractor and the work was done quickly.  The siding on our house is old and not readily available.  Merryfield was able to source the replacement siding even after we were told by another company that this was not possible.

"It went very well. We needed to add safefty bars and a seat for our aging loved one so we decided to do a full bathroom remodel. Niko and his team were great. Price was reasonable and competitive to other quotes we had before starting. The majority of the job was done by Niko and Rick. Anthony assisted on the demo and Tio in the final touches (last day). Rick was there promptly each morning. Niko stayed late each day. They both work very well together. They give explanations and advice in what their doing to educate us while honoring our creative wishes. They value quality work instead of rushing the job. Niko makes sure he is there on site as well is respectful of our home and truly both nice contractors. It ran a little longer than planned; it happens in renovations. However, it was well worth it . Hiring for our next project and most likely all projects."

"Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done.
