"Chimney repair is something that no homeowner wants to have to do, especially considering the expense, but after calling in four different companies for estimates, we were convinced that we had no choice: Chimney needed to be relined, chimney needed to be completely rebuilt from the roof line up, pipes were not properly installed in our boiler room which meant that we were potentially getting gas leaks into the house. Yikes! Matthew from Regency was the only person we contacted who actually went up on the roof, took pictures and sat me down to explain the severity of the problem and what he proposed to do about it. He was patient, professional and polite, taking the time to answer all of my questions, writing out a detailed work proposal right then and there, and talked to me seriously about how long the job would take and when he could start. He accommodated me when I said I had a prior engagement and could not give his workers access to the house at a certain time AND gave me the best price on top of everything else! He was communicative, always responding to texts and calls in a timely manner and his workers were clean, efficient and professional. It is a family owned and operated business and they are meticulous in terms of their work and their customer relations. I have gotten a lot of household repairs done lately and would not recommend everyone we have hired: Matthew and regency are an exception. I have no hesitation in recommending them because they are easy to deal with and do great work...on schedule!"
