"I was in desperate need of a termite inspection for a mortgage company and was jersey around by a big named company that rhymes with "porkin" for over four weeks. I was on the verge of loosing my locked rate and Tom took time out of his already busy schedule to complete the inspection and provide the necessary paperwork, all for a very fair price. He is genuine, caring, and professional giving sound advise what you need in pest control, not what is convenient to sell."

"We hired this company to get rid of a pesty skunk. The gentleman, Justin put up a cage and returned everyday to check. We love that they have a love for animals. They just simply find a new location they can call home in the wilderness. We highly recommend."

"I was seeking a significant augmentation of insulation in my attic, since the existing insulation was 31 years old, and had become very thin, and shoved around over several decades of work up there. After vetting 4 contractors, I chose Western Pest Services, and was very pleased with the entire process. they did a thorough evaluation of the attic space, evaluated my plan to run the installation tube through a 2nd floor window, and confirmed that there are no pests in the space. I felt that the price was fair - and the technicians did a terrific job in less time than I had expected. Definitely recommend them!"

"Responsive, punctual, showed photos of findings, walked us through the solutions and followed up promptly. Service is expensive but the critters, probably squirrels in the attic crawl space, are gone."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Yes. While cellar spiders can seem creepy or scary, they’re essential to the ecosystem. They feed on smaller insects in your home or elsewhere, keeping those populations in check. They’re also food for birds and small animals, so if you let a cellar spider live and simply transport it outside your house, you’re letting the natural cycle continue undisturbed.

Yes, professionals use non-toxic methods and materials to protect both health and the environment.

Chirping noises, droppings, scratches on the walls, and stains at entries and exits are all signs that you have bats in your house or, more specifically, your attic. Because bats are nocturnal, there’s a chance that bats have already infested your home before you start to see warning signs, so don’t delay if you notice anything. If you see a bat or two at sunrise or sunset near your property, that’s another telltale sign that they could be setting up shop inside your space.

Groundhogs are non-aggressive animals that are afraid of humans. They forage for vegetation in yards and gardens, so they can often be seen as a nuisance if you spot one on your property. That said, if you happen to get bitten or scratched by a fearful groundhog, be sure to get checked by a doctor, as they could carry infections or diseases like rabies, Lyme, or the rare tularemia.

Yes, it’s possible for bats in your attic to find a way into your living spaces. Until you can properly remove the bats, the best course of action is to keep the attic doors closed and any holes sealed. Evidence suggests bats follow the airflow in your home, so they may try escaping from the attic to other parts of the house.
