"I recently hired Local Boyz to break up my existing concrete patio which was pitched towards my house and not the best looking. First when I had Bill come to my house for an estimate, he was very knowledgeable and I could tell that he had lots of experience. His father, also named Bill works with him and the both of them have an insane amount of experience. Bill senior even used to teach masonry so you know that theyâ re pros. Bill and his team were very patient with me as I altered the final plans multiple times. Their end goal was to just make me happy which they did. I now have a large patio with a custom bump out for a fire pit that I installed, along with a nice sawcut and stained border that gave my patio a great decorative touch. "The actual project was to cut a drain into my patio to allow for the water to drain off to a sump tank and pumped to the front of the house. The patio floods during heavy rain and last month, the water came into the house and ruined 3 floors. They did this job and my master bedroom tile job at the same time. "Our front entry steps were cracked and pulling from house. In addition they were originally installed with a bad pitch, water flowed toward home. Derek from sun Viking came to my home for the estimate and after having 3 other estimates Derek was the only contractor who actually identified the actual problem and explained to me that simply veneering the steps would not correct it. I hired Sun Viking primarily due to Derek's knowledge and although the price was more than we budgeted for we went for it (We budgeted $6500 for the job). WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!! This company exceeded my expectations by doing the little things like pouring footers and rebuilding the steps from the ground up they also installed conduit line for adding step lighting or landscape lights to the homes front later on. His employees were punctual and polite. They explained things to me if I had questions as the job progressed. The finished product is just stunning and we have already received compliments from neighbors. Thank You Derek and the Sun Viking team!!!"
