"Overall a very good experience with Joe. High level of customer service - very responsive and good communicator. What was also important was that we had an electrician doing work at the same time and Joe worked harminously with him. Very accurate with the execution. The job (painting a whole apartment) took longer than expected but that's because Joe had much more patch work filling holes/ preparing walls. Joe took great care touching up the apartment to finish off the job. We spoke after everyday - he wanted to ensure that we were happy with the progress. Reasonable value - Joe's quote was very competitive but the differentiator was he used higher quality paints and would do 3 coats in some areas to get the finish he wanted. I have a large dog and recently purchased the house (was first rug cleaning since purchase) from owners who also had a dog so there were apparently a couple stains that turned up during the cleaning. He offered, for an additional $25, to use a pet neutralizer on the stains but I declined due to the limited quantity (2) and size of the stains. The sales and carpet installation by Empire Carpet was both great deals. Empire gave us two rooms of carpeting for the price of one room in other places. And that was installed over padding. We were very satisfied with the carpet installation too. It went very smoothly. The crew was friendly and did everything as expected.
