I have a large dog and recently purchased the house (was first rug cleaning since purchase) from owners who also had a dog so there were apparently a couple stains that turned up during the cleaning. He offered, for an additional $25, to use a pet neutralizer on the stains but I declined due to the limited quantity (2) and size of the stains.
