"Tom and Matt came by to side my house (and garage), put in new windows, and rip off the old roof and put a new one on. Attention to detail was impeccable. All of our neighbors were impressed with the work, and would often stop by to see the guys work their magic. They got here early every day, busted their butts, and always made sure to clean up before they left. Bonus, if there was pizza and a beer as the light at the end of the tunnel, they would always put in a few extra hours. Great guys. I will be using All Phases again for my next project."

"Power spray of house was great.  Pool deck had puddles because it doesn't drain well.  Planning to have contractor come out and seal pool deck with epoxy cement paint so puddles (with some dirt) will be removed before paint.  Contractor was courteous and helpful when more attention to some areas was requested.

As a general guideline, professionals often install three balusters per foot of railing. The best direction for a gate to swing depends on its location and purpose, but swinging inward is the general rule. An inward swing is often considered safer, prevents the gate from opening into public spaces like a sidewalk, and may be required by local building codes.

There are exceptions and specific considerations. If your property is on a slope, an inward swing might not be possible. For a deck gate, it's safest to have it swing away from any steps. In a backyard, the direction can be a matter of preference, though an inward swing can be helpful when carrying heavy items like a wheelbarrow into a garden.

PVC decking tends to be cooler than composite because the material is less dense and absorbs less heat. However, it depends on the deck’s color. Footings for ground-level decks need to be at least 12 inches deep, and some areas require them to be even deeper. A standard range for deck footings is anywhere from 12 to 48 inches. You can nail or screw composite decking, but 3-inch decking screws are the better fastener choice. Unlike nails, decking screws won’t back out of the composite material over time. There’s also little danger of splitting composite material when driving screws, so you don’t need to pre-drill holes unless otherwise recommended by your decking manufacturer.
