You should add chlorine within 48 hours of filling your pool with water. In just 24 hours, bacteria and algae will begin to grow and contaminate your water. The best thing to do is to get rid of the algae first, test and balance the water, and then you can enjoy swimming without any worries.

Natural pools don’t necessarily attract snakes, although there is a chance they could stop by for a quick visit. They’re not likely to stay, however, because there’s nothing for snakes to eat in a natural pool environment. A well-maintained natural pool has clear water, so you should be able to easily spot a snake before diving in.

A qualified pool contractor who is familiar with local regulations can assess your yard and let you know if it’s feasible to install a pool. Whether or not your yard is suitable for a pool depends on a number of factors, including the size of your yard, the placement of utility lines, your yard’s terrain, and more.
