This renovation project was completed and every aspect of the job the homeowner found a problem with. I inspected the job in person twice so to say I never saw it is a complete lie. They wanted the top area between the coping and tile grouted which we did. They wanted an area on the step addressed which we did. The one cracked coping must of happened after the winter which we would repair but the homeowner never finished paying for the job. . This is the first I am hearing about a boot print in the floor. All the equipment failed because this property is in the valley in Manville and has been flooded many times. We reached out to him numerous times with no response. We sued them for the balance and they came and paid a portion of the balance but never finished paying for the job. Another example of their is always 2 sides to a story.Service Provider Response
We are sorry that your experiencing difficulties. Other than needing a liner tuck because of the liner coming out of the coping which is common in a new liner installation, what other issues are there? We have replied to all requests whether a phone call or email.Service Provider Response
The client supplied us with his cover and stakes to install his cover at the pool closing. This style cover, which is a safety cover, is designed to be installed with anchors drilled into the concrete walk around the pool. This clients cover did have approximately 90% of the cover secured with the proper anchors. This cover was made incorrectly by another vendor so to compensate for the improper cover size and original improper installation the previous vendor decided to give the client rebar stakes to secure the remaining 10% of the cover. When installing the rebar stakes for the cover the underground pipes were punctured. After several discussions with this owner who consistently cursed and belittled our office staff and refused to listen and understand how the problem was caused we offered to pressure test his lines for free as a courtesy. This charge is a standard $270 which we did not bill for or collect any payment for. After proving to the client where the puncture was and how it was caused he still refused to understand and listen to the voice of reason. One more factor is that the correct depth for pool pipes for pool plumbing in NJ is below the frost line which is 36 inches. The pipes were much shallower than that because the stakes provided by the client were 18". The reason we are not responsible for this damage is very obvious. This client supplied us with the cover which was incorrectly manufactured and the rebar stakes. The pool plumbing pipes were not at the correct depth and our techs cannot see through the ground to see the depth or location of buried pipesService Provider Response
Our crew arrived to open the pool on the scheduled date. The cover was on the pool and when it was removed the water level was too low to start the filter system, (which is something we go over when we call to remind our clients of when we are coming to open the pool the steps needed to be able to open the pool properly) Our crew used an external portable vacuum system to do the initial vacuum. Most pools are not swimable after one vacuum service. Most pools take at the least a few vacs to be clean and usable. Our crew leaves behind detailed information about what was done and what needs to be done. That evening we received a very nasty and insulting phone call from Mr. Homeowner. We called him the next day and left a message explaining the water was not high enough and our tech used his portable vac system for the initial vacuum service. We took it upon ourselves to send our service manager to return to inspect the site and see what exactly was the issue. Our service manager took it upon himself to clean the pool again and confirmed everything was running correctly. After 3 messages to Mr Homeowner he decided to call us back. He voiced his issues. He claimed the pool water was at operating level and our guys never vacuumed the pool. When Kevin disagreed with him and explained that the water level was not high enough to start the system and there would be no reason why our tech would say the water level was not high enough, the homeowner's exact words were "Well if your going to take the words of your guys over the homeowner I don't have time for this". and he hung up. Important to note: We never had a chance to have any dialogue and let us explain our position. Also, why would our tech say the water was not high enough? Their is absolutely no benefit for our tech to claim this. It is more work for him, because he attempted to try to start the pool off the bottom drain. If the water level is correct , the system would start right up. . The Homeowner's wife was on site for a portion of the procedure and came out while the crew was there and can confirm the water level was not high enough and that the guys did vacuum the pool at the opening. I think it's unfortunate that the homeowner had to write a bad review instead of communicating and trying to work this out. I respectfully disagree with his version in this review of the days events, after speaking to my crew. For the reasons above, is why I felt the need to reply so quickly to this review.Service Provider Response
Mr. [Member Name Removed], Thank you for the kind words. It was a pleasure to work with you on your pool project. [Member Information Removed] Unfortunately a girl in our office misinformed you. We called before the appointment and apologized for the mistake. Writing a review with F for professionalism and overall is ridiculous. I think it was pretty responsive and professional to call you and tell you this instead of just not showing. One reason why reviews sometimes don't work. Sorry we could not service your area.Service Provider Response

We were hired by [Member Name Removed] to replace her liner in her 50 year old sylvan pool. The agreement was authorized and the work scheduled. The start date was delayed approx. 10 days due to [Member Name Removed] being out of town traveling. The liner was installed and it did have two significant wrinkles in the step well. Pools are not manufactured with step wells any longer due to the difficulty of the liner being cut by the manufacturer. After our tech installed the liner he felt they would pull out when the water filled which is a common occurrence. Once the pool was filled the wrinkles did not come out with the water pressure. We had to ultimately drain the pool and reset the liner. The pool was drained one time to correct the problem, not 3 times. We offered to close Mrs. Hillmans pool at no charge for her understanding and she declined. The liner is complete and is installed correctly. The only issue is that she has not completed her payments. As you can see from all our other reviews that our professionalism, promptness, communication and quality of work is what we are praised for. We correct any issues with our work and stand behind it.Service Provider Response
We did perform all the work [member name removed] explained correctly and we are paid in full because all the work we were contracted to perform was completed correctly. Her pool is over 30 years old and needed multiple repairs. The client feels we should be responsible for other items we were not contracted for like her water chemistry and not invoice her for it. She was told on several occasions to balance the water chemistry and she did not. If she would of followed our advise and balanced her pool water chemistry her pool would be clear and she would be swimming. After ignoring our advice and a few verbally abusive phone calls from [member name removed] threatening to sue us and write reviews like this one we can no longer help her. The best filtration system in the world will not make water that is chemically unbalanced clear. We spent several phone calls explaining the importance of water chemistry but if a client refuses to follow our advise, please don't write reviews like this one. That is not fair.Service Provider Response
We installed this system for the client in 2012 and the cell was too small. It was replaced the next day and the system worked perfectly. Two years later, this season the client called in May which we could not get to service him for a week. The client was not happy with this time frame and he was simply instructed that if this time frame was not acceptable other companies can warranty the unit. He expressed his dissatisfaction with our response and told us he would wait for us. We serviced the unit which all parts were covered under the warranty so to rate our service a D is unfair. We serviced the client the best we could considering it was May in the pool industry and gave him other options to satisfy his issue which would of cost him no more than it did with us. He chose to wait for our service which was performed and the unit is working perfectly.Health & Safety Measures
