"A few months back we â interviewedâ a few contractors to refinish our cabinets and Ziggy was one of them. We instantly felt great discussing with him and sometimes you just have to go with your gut. He was not the cheapest but also not the most expensive but regardless he just gives a good, comfortable â vibeâ and thatâ s exactly what made us go with him. Communication throughout the plan, ordered, installation date and such was flawlessly as he was prompt and as detailed as one could be with his responses. He finished up the job within the time frame (actually a bit earlier) he prepared us for which is a rarity nowadays ! I originally built our kitchen 15 years ago and have done a good bit of remodeling for our own house as well as helped others with theirs so I am certainly not a stranger to how some of this works but I also know my limits and this particular task was one of them (or I would have taken a few months to get it done!). Building things myself I can absolutely appreciate how one works as well as how they keep things when done for the day, Ziggy was awesome in every realm of this. If he wasnâ t sure how we might like something then he would ask, rather than just doing it a â standardâ way something thatâ s also not very often practiced by many contractors (I know and have dealt with several). If we werenâ t sure then he gave advice with options- none of which were we steered wrong, at all. Absolutely, positively 100% pleased with his entire process. "I almost never write a review (good or bad), but this one is well deserved. Design/Estimate/Order -- HM Cabinets was the first store I went to for my kitchen cabinets design and estimate. After that I shopped around for couple months and got designs/estimates from many other retailers. Decided to go ahead with HM Cabinets for 2 reasons - (1) Tamaz was quick in understanding the needs and made the designing process easy and thorough. I felt he was honest and had my best interest in mind. (2) Their quote was competitive and in fact slightly lower than others. Delivery/Post installation -- Fabuwood cabinet delivery came spot-on on the date agreed. More importantly, I was particularly impressed with the post installation support I got from HM Cabinets. Few cabinet doors were delivered scratched/broken. Tamaz created numerous RMAs with Fabuwood and replacements were shipped in no time. Overall, very happy with the services. Highly recommend."

"Adequate sweep for rates charged. I can respect the game of upselling additional services/upgrades, but I questioned the necessity ($1K for replacing all the wood stove chimney pipes). At the end of it all, I hired another contractor for a second opinion- who addressed piping issues for minimal cost (basically the price of a sweep)."
