On the installation day, after he ripped up the flooring in the kitchen/ dining area he said that we did need additional work done to even the floor. After discussing it with Sue ,he added another layer of plywood and made the floor even. This was all done the first day. Joe and his helper cleaned up and returned the next day to install. Joe also installed new molding in the kitchen and bedroom. A week later Tony installed the carpet in the bedroom. The floor and the carpet look beautiful. Joe, Tony and Joe's helper were very professional and cleaned up after they were finished. We had an extra expense due the uneven floor, but it was worth it for the results. "I recently moved to a senior home that was built in 1965; VERY little has been done to update this place since then. The oak hardwood floors were a MESS! They were very worn and full of (pet) stains throughout. While the quote from 3M was slightly higher than another quote I got, they were available when I needed them. Marcelo and his crew did a FANTASTIC job! The floors look amazing. They also put oak hardwood in the master bedroom and hallway that had been there when built but replaced by previous owners with cheap snap flooring in a hideous color. It was a BIG job but the results were beautiful. I would highly recommend 3M Mello Hardwood Floors, Inc. to anyone who asks.
