"Our floors in the kitchen were not leveled we had a leak in the kitchen from our dishwasher and the floors were damaged. We called VCH Flooring and Parag came out to give us the estimate. He recommended that we have to do a full leveling on the floor and install the tile in the kitchen which will match to our cabinets. We decided to go with VCH Flooring and it was the best decision we made. Parag and his crew did an amazing job in leveling the floors and installed the tiles perfectly. We are very happy with the new tiles in the kitchen and we highly recommend VCH Flooring to everyone looking for a professional flooring service."

"I purchased a 50 year old home and added hardwood floors in the entryway, family room and kitchen. D & S was hired to refinish the older floors and finish the newly installed floors. They gave me 4 color choices for stain and the floors look great. Highly recommend D & S Hardwood Floors."

"If you are looking to resurface your wood floors and need a company to do the job, look no more. Rossi Floors is the company that you need to use. Carlos and his team were punctual, detailed and professional. What made my wife and I happy was that Carlos was knowledgeable of ALL the flooring products and made practical recommendations based upon our needs. The product he recommended was perfect for our home and the foot traffic we experience on a daily basis. In short Rossi Floors did a great job for a reasonable and fair price. I would highly recommend."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

The correct method to fix bubbling carpet depends on the cause. If the bubbles are caused by moisture, drying out the carpet can help flatten it. Otherwise, a pro might need to restretch or reinstall the carpet to fix the issue.

Avoid steam cleaning unsealed hardwood, vinyl, and laminate floors unless the manufacturer explicitly states that a steam mop can be used.

Your floor sees a lot of action: foot traffic bringing in dirt from outside, pets with muddy paws, kids dropping food crumbs, and more. All of this makes your floors dirty, and if you don’t keep up with cleaning them, staying on top of the dirt will become more challenging.

Most people realize it is time to replace the padding when the carpet loses springiness or feels thin and unsupportive. Other telltale signs are lumps or dips in the carpet that could look unattractive or cause tripping hazards. Similarly, if your carpet is making a crinkly sound or starting to wear out prematurely, you might need to replace your padding.

The flooring that is the least toxic is solid wood. Natural linoleum, tile, stone, bamboo, and cork flooring also make the list of least-toxic flooring types. These flooring materials are safer and healthier for your home because they are natural materials that aren’t manufactured with chemicals, unlike laminate flooring. While some laminate flooring brands are made with less formaldehyde, many contain high levels of toxic chemicals that can off-gas in your home for months and years after installation.

Choosing natural flooring materials that are easy to clean without chemical cleansers can also help keep your home safer.
