"The Lux Renovations crew did an excellent job with our basement project. We were able to transform 800 square feet of unfinished space into a rec room with areas for ping pong, exercise and watching TV. We went with the paintable wall panels and were happy with that choice. We also went with the Karndean vinyl flooring in nude Danish Oak finish and are happy with the light hardwood floor look. The crew was very careful with all measurements, and the end result is a nicely finished space with all walls and ceilings and doors perfectly plumb and true. Dave G. was our project manager and was great to work with. James was our on-site supervisor, and he worked long days to keep the project on track and was highly skilled at everything he did."

"Nick went above and beyond and identified and addressed issues he noticed, when working on our project to replace and/or repair the bathroom ceiling and wall required due to water damage. He also upgraded our vanity/sink, faucet and medicine cabinet. Since he noticed the need to caulk the the toilet, he advised of the need and took care of it. Also, he identified the need to replace the tile in the shower/tub area and will be taking care of that for us to prevent water damage. If Nick noticed some issue/concern, he mentioned it and offered to resolve it. Also, Nick patched drywall cracks and holes along the ceiling/wall living room and in a hallway closet and living room wall, and everything looks so much better. He provides excellent craftsmanship and is a trustworthy source for advice and insight to various home projects. I have already sought Nick for work in addition to what I had initially planned, and I will contact him for future projects. He is also very generous in helping to pick-up the vanity/sink for the bathroom project. Fortunately, I found a handyman/contractor that I can trust and depend who is reasonable, knowledgeable, personable and willing to be flexible with his schedule on which is very rare."

"Asia and Liz did an incredible job remodeling my upstairs! My Cape Cod has slanted ceilings that can be tricky, but they transformed two bedrooms into a dream master suite. They built a stunning bathroom with my jetted tub, a cozy fireplace, and gorgeous tile we picked out together, they even met me at the store to help choose. They worked in my love of gold accents and created amazing closet space, including one huge closet plus an extra walk-in for a his-and-hers setup. They rebuilt walls, added new windows, updated the floors, and gave everything fresh paint so it feels like a brand-new home. Beyond their craftsmanship, Asia and Liz were fun, flexible, and trustworthy, I always felt comfortable having them in my home. Thanks to them, I now have the master suite I always wanted!"

"They were on time, efficient and got to the heart of the problem after a new roof had been put on the house the year before. Although we had a guarantee from the roofing company, they said that they did not cover that kind of situation unless it could be proved that it was a leak due to their work. We contacted DDP from your list and he came over to review the situation.There was mold forming in the corner of the ceiling which connected the roof. We thought it was a leak but it turned out to be mold. The individual assessed the project and gave us a fair price based on the work needed."

"Alberto was so nice, respectful and knowledgeable. It was like I was dealing with a friend. He explained everything and didn't mind repeating what I didn't understand, multiple times, lol. He went above and beyond. Nothing was a problem, not even a few things I added to the project. The workmanship was exceptional and his workers were also very nice and respectful. I felt very comfortable with them working in the house and knowing right from the start I would be happy with the completed job. I highly recommend them to anyone and I don't usually do that. The floor came out nicer than I expected it would be."

"I purchased a multifamily house with 2 stories. The 2nd floor had 1 inch original hardwood from 1920 that laid on the floor joists so you could hear every footstep downstairs and my tenants almost moved out. I hired Cesar to take on a tedious and technical ceiling soundproofing technique for the apartment using RSCI rubber clips, hat channels, insulation, and making the 1st floor airtight. I was so impressed with how he was able to juggle handling my tenant for 2 weeks, compensating for delayed shipping by driving 3 hours to New York and picking up the materials himself to make sure we meet the deadline, redoing 1 entire room at his loss and not charging me for it because the original technique we tried did not work, and listening and working with me to make sure we didn't miss any details that would cause sound transfer (and this was impressive because I am very detail oriented). My tenants moved in and were very impressed by the finished looked of the new ceilings and crown molding. We saw a sound improvement of about 15 STC in both airborne and impact noise. It cut down sound transfer by 2/3 in the 1st floor apartment. I will be adding rubber underlayment upstairs underneath the new flooring to completely block out the rest of the impact noise that transfers from the floor above to the walls downstairs that support it! I'll be calling Cesar and his crew again."

"Great! Keith has a lot of experience in the area so everything from permits to the demolition dumpster was managed professionally. He's got a great crew (carpenters, electrician, plumber, tile and wood floor installer) who handled all facets of my kitchen demolition and installation with Keith there doing the work and overseeing all aspects. And with any major renovation there were "bumps in the road" that Keith was able to roll with and saved the day numerous times when something didn't go according to plan. He's also meticulous with trying to keep the accumulated dust to a minimum with clever floor to ceiling tarp posts which closed off entire rooms. In addition he has a zippered tarp to keep dust out of higher traffic areas that need to be accessed. And he always broom cleaned the area before he left for the day. Thanks to Built-Well I have beautiful new kitchen!"
