"The Lux Renovations crew did an excellent job with our basement project. We were able to transform 800 square feet of unfinished space into a rec room with areas for ping pong, exercise and watching TV. We went with the paintable wall panels and were happy with that choice. We also went with the Karndean vinyl flooring in nude Danish Oak finish and are happy with the light hardwood floor look. The crew was very careful with all measurements, and the end result is a nicely finished space with all walls and ceilings and doors perfectly plumb and true. Dave G. was our project manager and was great to work with. James was our on-site supervisor, and he worked long days to keep the project on track and was highly skilled at everything he did."

"Nick went above and beyond and identified and addressed issues he noticed, when working on our project to replace and/or repair the bathroom ceiling and wall required due to water damage. He also upgraded our vanity/sink, faucet and medicine cabinet. Since he noticed the need to caulk the the toilet, he advised of the need and took care of it. Also, he identified the need to replace the tile in the shower/tub area and will be taking care of that for us to prevent water damage. If Nick noticed some issue/concern, he mentioned it and offered to resolve it. Also, Nick patched drywall cracks and holes along the ceiling/wall living room and in a hallway closet and living room wall, and everything looks so much better. He provides excellent craftsmanship and is a trustworthy source for advice and insight to various home projects. I have already sought Nick for work in addition to what I had initially planned, and I will contact him for future projects. He is also very generous in helping to pick-up the vanity/sink for the bathroom project. Fortunately, I found a handyman/contractor that I can trust and depend who is reasonable, knowledgeable, personable and willing to be flexible with his schedule on which is very rare."

"Asia and Liz did an incredible job remodeling my upstairs! My Cape Cod has slanted ceilings that can be tricky, but they transformed two bedrooms into a dream master suite. They built a stunning bathroom with my jetted tub, a cozy fireplace, and gorgeous tile we picked out together, they even met me at the store to help choose. They worked in my love of gold accents and created amazing closet space, including one huge closet plus an extra walk-in for a his-and-hers setup. They rebuilt walls, added new windows, updated the floors, and gave everything fresh paint so it feels like a brand-new home. "The entire bathroom remodel was completed in 2 1/2 weeks as promised. Sergio was always available for questions and his crew did meticulous work. In addition to fully remodeling the bathroom (brand new shower, tile, plumbing, electric), which came out amazing, they respackled and repainted our dining room ceiling which was damaged from a leak and built heater covers for our other bathrooms. They protected our floors and stairs, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job all around. I only wish we found this company sooner and will be using them for our future projects."

"They were on time, efficient and got to the heart of the problem after a new roof had been put on the house the year before. Although we had a guarantee from the roofing company, they said that they did not cover that kind of situation unless it could be proved that it was a leak due to their work. We contacted DDP from your list and he came over to review the situation.There was mold forming in the corner of the ceiling which connected the roof. We thought it was a leak but it turned out to be mold. The individual assessed the project and gave us a fair price based on the work needed."

"The first home we renovated with NJSA was our family home in 2015. It is a Dutch Colonial and like many older, small to medium sized homes, the property itself is a nice size but all living spaces were facing the street, without a pleasant flow to the backyard. The added difficulty was that the staircase is on the back wall, seemingly blocking the option to open the living room to an addition, and so the only access to the backyard was through the crowded 6x9 kitchen: so clumsy and discouraging hosting family and friends. The back of the home is on the North side too, making the kitchen feel even more dark and cramped. This home finally flows beautifully into the backyard, all the daylight and moonlight floods the home, and you can throw all the windows open and listen to the fountain and the children play... This custom addition allowed us to live inside-outside, and finally enjoy a bright and airy kitchen in the center of the home, with 180 degree views from sunrise to sunsetâ ¦ I've done my best to find old pictures to show you the before/after; please excuse my kiddo as he stars in a few of them.
