"Andres and his team are very efficient. They stayed on schedule and promptly followed all the instructions. They were very thorough with their work and cleaned up everyday. Interior painting was very well done. Andres is a very likable person and well communicative. He answered all my questions patiently and took time to explain various issues. I will be using AMC painting for exterior painting soon. I will definitely recommend AMC painting 100%"

"They really went out of their way fixing a hole in the ceiling. They patched the hole perfectly and painted, but the paint didn't match. So for only $30 extra they took a sample to the store, matched the paint, bought some paint, and re-did the painting! They are very fair and honest and did a great job for us. For sure will re hire."

"Rafael and his team did an amazing job! | hired them to paint two bedrooms and a bathroom, and to remove the popcorn ceilings. They were kind, professional, and extremely detail-oriented. I was able to work with their interior designer to choose paint colors, which made the process even easier. They started the job quickly, were reasonably priced, and the quality was outstanding. I've already asked them to come back to paint the rest of my house. I highly recommend Superb Painting!"

Customers say: True professional

"Very happy with it. Rich, Sergio, and the crew are all great to work with and very easy to get along with as well. I found them on an Angie's List deal and I gave them more work than the coupon because I needed most of the house painted. It was well worth the cost as the walls look picture perfect. You can see all the time that was put in to smoothing out the walls and the fixing the kitchen cabinet that wasn't in the greatest shape (lots of gaps, doors were taken off, and everything was caulked and smoothed) and making it look like I just installed a new built-in. I even saw a couple of minor issues and Rich and Sergio were out there next day to fix them up. They have a perfectionist mentality. I would definitely hire again if I need the other rooms done."

"We hired this contractor for an interior painting project and they exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only did Michael respond instantly to every communication, he was able to work around our schedule and his team worked like a well-oiled machine delivering a beautiful, neat job in just one day and all at a very fair price! The work was so good that even my picky husband could find nothing to complain about...that is saying a lot! We plan to use him again for other projects as he is a general contractor and have already recommended him to our friends."

Small jobs welcome

"I had the pleasure of hiring Mayron to restore my water-damaged kitchen. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent craftsmanship surpassed all expectations. They seamlessly put walls and cabinets back together, installed new lighting and tile, and painted with precision. Impressed with their work, I also had them redo my bathroom. The team was punctual, friendly, and their exceptional skills made the entire process stress-free. I highly recommend this painter for top-notch painting, and renovation services."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Think hard before deciding to German schmear your home’s exterior brickwork. If you do not like the look, you are pretty much stuck with it, as it is impossible to remove this finish the way you can remove paint. You risk damaging the underlying brick if you have to chisel and acid-wash it away. It will also take a very long time, and remnants of the mortar wash will always remain.

Pressure washing is the best way to remove paint that’s already peeling from certain types of vinyl and aluminum siding and some masonry. However, if the paint is largely intact and not yet peeling, or if your siding material can’t withstand the pressure, you may need to use other methods, such as chemical paint strippers, a heat gun, a paint scraper, or sanding.

When a window is painted shut, this means that paint has gotten into the cracks when window sashes or window frames were being painted. It’s pretty easy for this sort of thing to happen while painting, but sometimes homeowners will use paint to seal drafty windows, which will often cause them to get stuck shut.

To remove painted-over hinges for replacement or paint removal, you should use a utility knife to score around the edges of the hinges gently. Work very carefully so as not to damage the surrounding area. From there, you can unscrew the hinges and gently pry them off the door, making sure not to bend the metal.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.
