When working with a house painter, homeowners frequently have questions about the process of painting their house. We developed a detailed preparation and house painting procedure for a typical home. After 19 years of experience and after painting hundreds of homes, we believe our process will insure that your home will be painted on time, for the price quoted, and that your expectations will be met. We understand your home is of great value to you; therefore, we make every effort to keep it clean and safe. All garbage and debris will be removed daily. I had an excellent experience. When I realized my initial plan was too simplistic and costly, Nick carefully worked with me to formulate something that fit my needs and my budget. More importantly, he was very careful and honest about what would work well and what wouldn't. This candor is very helpful to the customer. The team finished quickly and did a wonderful job. Communication was excellent -- and on top of that their prices were the best of the firms I found on Angie's List. I strongly recommended them and would surely use them again if the need arises.

Our house was in desperate need of painting and we brought Worry Free in to provide us with an estimate. Their price was more than competitive and their customer service was far better than I could have anticipated. From start to finish, the crew was professional, curious and focused on providing a positive experience. Our neighbors actually commented on how much care they put into protecting our landscaping and how professional the crew was. The review is for the followup warranty work, or lack of. The initial work of painting the exterior of the house was excellent, in line with the other glowing reviews. Owner, Nick, was very responsive and accommodating and the workers were excellent. The price was better than other companies. The company takes pride on customer service and quality of work and provides a 5 yr warranty. Within months of completing the work, a patch job next to front door started peeling, and also the company forgot to take down plastic covering on a 2nd floor window. I first contacted Nick on 4/7/18. Since then, he blew 4 different appointments (without notice) to come out and fix the problem. I CAN PROVIDE ALL TEXT DOCUMENTATION. And now, Nick is using the infamous contractor move when they don't want to deal with customers - GHOSTING - no answers to texts and calls. Very unprofessional not to honor their warranty. Do your own research, and see if the company is worth dealing with.

The painting company was responsive to our calls. It took two months from the time we contracted the job until they could start. They kept us informed of their progress along the way. The painter was always prompt, and he was very polite. Unfortunately, the owner of the company did not relay what the job entailed to the painter, so toward the end of the job we had to point out things that were not done, like the ceiling of the front porch. The basic painting of the house was fine. But, we had a different color accent put around the windows and doors, and there was lack of attention paid to the details. We have a stucco house and we knew the border would not be perfect, however there are a lot of sloppy edges that we have to fix ourselves in the the spring. There are also small paint drips on other surfaces, and we will have to touch these up as well. All in all, I would use this company for a basic exterior paint job, but not for a job that required a lot of detailed work.

Everything went smoothly. Nick promptly gave me a quote, and a few weeks later when there was a break in the weather had the crew start the work. We had the house, garage, and foundation painted. The crew made minor repairs as needed as well including some minor trim work and repairs to the clapboard siding on the garage. They power-washed the house, scraped any loose paint, primed as needed and put on two coats of Sherwin Williams Superpaint. The job took 5 full days to complete. Everything looks great, and they provide a 5 year warranty as well.

Nick was friendly and professional and gave me a fantastic estimate! Of course the initial process was removing the wall paper then painting. Work only took 2 days! Both workers; Scottie and Vincent were courteous and professional and did an excellent job!

WFP did an excellent job. They first inspected the home thoroughly pointing out potential problem areas and how they would handle them. An estimate was provided which was fair and highly competitive.
Workers arrived early and worked throughout the day. When additional help was needed to complete the job in a timely way, more painters were brought in.
Following an initial inspection, a small area of the exterior did not appear satisfactory and a consultant was brought in to advise. The area was re-done to my total satisfaction.
Nick, the owner, was always available for review and discussion of all the work. He was always very pleasant, professional and serious about achieving my complete satisfaction.
The entire experience was made easy for me and my trust in them was ultimately quite justified.

Nick gave us a reasonable estimate and a good warranty(5 years) on their work. We had to wait awhile because of continual rain, but then they were here when things dried up. Julio (I hope I'm spelling that right) and his workers were unrelenting during their hours and days here. Their stamina and professional attitude and quality craftsmanship was refreshing. The house was carefully covered, taped and sprayed. That was the quick and relatively easy part. The difficult, labor intensive part was the deck and associated lattice work which was done in a very detailed manner. They left the house and grounds clean and neat. I am a very demanding homeowner and I found nothing wrong with their work and can only give them praise. Bravo!

Very responsive to calls/ messages. Estimate and job scheduled and performed quickly. Nick and his team was professional who arrived early every morning. Jobs performed: Power wash, performed some carpentry repair on wood siding, windows and hardware removed or coverup during prep work and cleaned up after job completion. It is my first time having the paint applied by spray, instead of historically using hand painting on this house. Visually, I personally does not find spray painting inferior to hand painting in anyway, plus WFP provides 5 year warranty on their job using Sherwin Williams paint. Very smooth transaction. Highly recommended.

They started out being very good and everything was fine and the workman did a good job but I paid and everything. After they left, they were supposed to come back and do all the little catch up and things. There were some doors that they hadn’t painted in the inside, there was a closet that they didn’t paint and there were shelves in the kitchen that they never painted at all. There were some small problems that needed to be addressed and I spoke to the owner and I left messages and they never came back to do all the catch ups and the things they had missed. I had paid them already which I think is a big mistake. They can do a good job. I’m happy with the fact that they never came back and they never responded to my messages. I think the price seems very expensive. If they don’t call back and they don’t finish the work, then their professionalism is not good.

"This project was completed in summer 2011. We returned twice to try and make [removed members name] complete. One complaint was that the interior of the cabinets weren't painted. This was clearly excluded in the contract and [removed members name] did not want to pay for the additional cost to paint the interior of the cabinets. There is nothing in the contract that was not completed and [removed members name] has a warranty and has not contacted us with any issues for more than 30 months now. All of our numbers are still the same and she is free to contact us if there are any warranty issues.As for the price it is a house that was over 100 years old and we painted 80% of the interior. The price was more than fair."
