Michael Kim, the proprietor, from the very beginning was 100% professional, responsible, knowledgeable, detailed oriented and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. He was always punctual and promptly answered emails and phone calls. His engagement with us included repainting 2 bedrooms, 2 hallways, living room and dining room, bathroom and kitchen, outside doors and windows along with wall paper removal (kitchen) and installation (bathroom). Painting included 2 coats of Benjamin Moore along with primer where necessary. We are extremely pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend his services'

We hired this contractor for an interior painting project and they exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only did Michael respond instantly to every communication, he was able to work around our schedule and his team worked like a well-oiled machine delivering a beautiful, neat job in just one day and all at a very fair price! The work was so good that even my picky husband could find nothing to complain about...that is saying a lot! We plan to use him again for other projects as he is a general contractor and have already recommended him to our friends.

Michael and his crew installed wallpaper in 2 rooms in our home. Not only were they promp and professional but they also helped when the wallpaper I originally selected didn't work out due to quality. They came back as soon as the new wallpaper arrived to install. I would absolutely hire and work with him again. Definitely recommend.

MIke was the only contractor to come to see the job immmediately and give me a quote. All others just quoted via email without ecven seeing the job. He and his crew were on time, extremely meticulous, very clean workers, provided the COI for my building immediately and paid attention to every detail including the moving of furniture, wires, etc. I am thrilled I found a contractor of this high quality and will definitely use again for other projects I have.

Michael and his team came to install an accent wallpaper in our bedroom. Michael was incredibly easy to communicate with and thorough with his assessment. He was punctual and precise. His prices are competitive with other contractors (while I wish it was cheaper, I would pay the full price again for his quality work).

I cannot thank and rave about Michael enough. My husband and I bought our first property and needed someone to fix some issues before we moved in. We had zero experience with home improvement projects or contractors and initially went with Michael out of other people we spoke to because he was communicative and professional. That one decision to work with him was the best decision we made through my this process. Saying that we felt taken care of from start to finish is and understatement. Over the course of a few weeks, Michael transformed our apartment. He communicated any issues that came up as he and his crew worked and would give us solutions at different price points and never pressured us to make s decision that was out of our budget. For example, our baseboards were from the 1950s and needed to be replaced. However once they were removed, the crew quickly realized that any new baseboards, which are about half the thickness of the 1950s ones, would reveal a gap in our flooring and would likely mean that we’d have to replace the floors (that weren’t in good condition anyway but I wanted to try to keep them because they were hardwood). By the time we got to the apartment to talk through options, Michael had already done so much research on our top ions, including calling multiple custom baseboard vendors to buy thicker boards to cover the gap because he knew I had said that I’d wanted to keep the floors. As a first time property owner with little knowledge on possible solutions, we felt fully taken care of by his expertise. After weighing all the options, we ended up with new baseboards and new engineered hardwood floors and we could not be happier with the results! Michael goes above and beyond for his clients. When I picked a paint color and decided that I had made a terrible mistake and wanted to repaint the walls white, I reluctantly told Michael thinking he’d be annoyed. His response was white the opposite—he came over 15 minutes later on a Sunday afternoon with books of paint color samples and reassured us that everything would be okay and finished on time even if we repainted. It’s was so comforting to be supported in what could have been a stressful delay. He even helped us pick a paint color and we’re obsessed with it! Finally, Michael’s communication snd professionalism continued throughout the entire process. He was always available to talk about ideas, help us make decisions, or offer guidance when we needed it. At the end of job, he gave us a copy of every receipt from the purchases of the materials as well as an itemized receipt. He truly was a pleasure to work with and we were sad to part ways but we’re already saving up for a bathroom and kitchen refresh and know exactly who we will be calling—MK General Contractor!

They are very professional, on time, sincere and give reasonable price and if there's something that I want they will tell me if it will be expensive or not. The supervisor will gives a lot of advice and opinions on the project. He consults everything and tell me the outcome of the project. They even clean the place after they work as clean as when they came in. I would recommend them to my family and friends. They are very handy because they can do everything like plumbing, electrical, flooring and remodeling.

Michael was excellent. He came over to give us an estimate, explained everything and gave us a great quote. The floors turned out beautiful!! I was beyond pleased with the work done in my house (all my floors were replaced).Everything was completed on time and within budget.
