"Our furnace failed on a rather cold day. We called Arctic Air Conditioning and they sent a technician the same morning. The system was ~30 year old, and we know we needed to replace. Once we confirmed that the furnace is not salvageable, they sent an advisor, Chris, to do the measurement and gave an estimate. Chris was able to arrange the installation in 2 days. The team came and completed the work as expected. The work was done in about 5 hours: removal of the old gas furnace & AC unit, installation of new units and new thermostat. They made sure we inspect their work, and showed us how the furnace works. The AC will need to be fully charged when the weather is warmer. A couple things to know is that the utility rebate is small and not worth taking into purchase decision. The Lennox thermostat works well, but the phone app does not work (rated extremely poorly on app store), so don't bother. We picked the better upgrade, which is reflected in the project cost."

"I'm very happy with the work performed by this company plus the technician explained to me in detail of the work he was going to do as well as the correct way the dryer vent should have been installed before as the the exhaust vent was connected to the lower vent instead of the higher vent, saying that connecting it to the higher vent gave it more room for the lint to collect before it started clogging up the exhaust. The air duct cleaning was also conducted professionally and I have no complaint about their work. I would hire them again the next time my heating and cooling ducts needs cleaning. I'd recommend them to my friends."

Although the price was low, they exceeded my expectations on the quality of the installation. I received a quality unit and the installers ( Tom, Miles, Joe ) took attention to their work with all connections neatly routed. They also took their time to explain some items such as the overflow switch for the drain and the operation of the new thermostat. "Initially I had my AC repaired due to a leak. They were upfront about it possibly not holding the Freon..But for a couple of hundred dollars, I wanted to try it over replacing the entire HVAC sysrem. Mine was 33 years old at that point. So the Freon lasted about a month and I said let's just try it one more time and they were willing to try although again they said it probably isn't going to last even with "stop leak" added. Well it lasted about 5 days. So, when I called them to have them install a new HVAC, they took the second service call and credited it to the new HVAC. I have had the new HVAC for about a month, with the Google Nest thermostat and I could not be happier. Tony, JD, Mike and the other guys are the best. Amazing, professional, honest, with a fair to low price. I honestly would have paid more based on other bids. I would say don't even bother with other bids, but that wouldn't he prudent. So, get other bids but go with these guys. I promise you you will not be disappointed. I could not have asked for a better experience!!!"

"they got to my home when they said they would. the tec check out my ac unit ,he said i needed a relay he replaced it and the unit ran the same as before. he would not reinstall the old relay even though the new one did not make my unit work. he said the unit was low on coolant how did he know that when the unit would not keep running? i am mad at myself for not speeking up enough when the tec was at my home. he did not give me a bill, I still do not know what i was charged. After my service call a manager called me. We spoke for some time and he agreed with me and give me a credit for the service call. A hired them to install my new AC system. Two men came on a Saturday they worked very well togeather they installed the new system and cleaned up after them self. I am very pleased with there work. The new system works great. And the price was inline with other AC companys."

"Hire this Company for your HVAC needs! Please read below: I was told by another HVAC company that my compressor was dead and that I needed a new central AC unit which they quickly gave me a quote of $5k for the replacement. I called Garden State to get a second quote and Trevor (the owner) came over. Rather than immediately talking about pricing and options for a new unit (like the other company did), he asked me why the other company thought I needed a new unit. He asked if he could take a look at it and I said sure. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor, not compressor and replaced it. It only cost me $300.00!!! This guy is honest as the day is long and has unbelievable integrity. My AC and furnace units are over 10 years old and will more than likely need replacing in the next couple of years. Garden State will get my business and I will tell all my neighbors and friends about them as well."
