I was hesitant at first but after speaking with the company I felt much more comfortable using them. They are pleasant to speak with and were very thorough when listing out the item move list. Their prices are also very reasonable. I was then able to modify the list as the move got closer and I had a better idea of what my list was. The day of the move the three movers arrived on time and were very efficient. They were careful with all my items and followed instructions thoroughly. I also thought they had great personalities. The three guys were very tall and very strong. I used foreman Peter and two other guys. I find a lot of moving company movers are miserable. "I was very pleased with the services we received from Moving Ahead, Garden City Park. My son was moving his things from our garage/basement to his apartment in Ridgewood. We called on a Wednesday and were able to book 2 men to help us on Saturday morning. The price quote we got was fair and Danny helped us out with our needs. They called to confirm the appointment and on the day of the move they called to confirm that they were on their way. They were very professional and helpful even if we had more boxes than I originally thought. They were very efficient got everything loaded in the truck in an hour. The movers were also helpful when we asked if they could also help us pick up a couch that my son was buying a few blocks from their new apartment. We could not have moved in such a timely and efficient fashion without their help. Will definitely hire them again."

"I recently used Van Express to move from New Jersey to Maryland. I am a recent widow and was concerned about how I could handle this move by myself. I contracted with Van Express for the move and it was the best decision I could have made. They helped make a very stressful situation painless. The team of Mark, Brian, Jeff and Louie took excellent care in packing up my home. Furniture was blanket wrapped and great care was taken with any of the glass items. They remained very cheerful even with the hot temperatures of the day. They were all polite and friendly. I was very impressed. They (this time Mark, Brian and Jeff) came the next day to my new residence in Maryland which is in a high rise building and again were friendly and cheerful during the grueling day. They had to load the furniture in an elevator and bring down a hallway and never complained. My furniture and boxes arrived in excellent condition and I was very pleased. They arrived both days on time and the price quoted was the price charged. I totally recommend this company."

Dan was able to save the day by getting a truck to me in an hour. His team worked to get my apartment moved out of and into my home all in the SAME DAY!.
