"Rock Hard Concrete was prompt in coming out to give us a quote to repair our front concrete porch and small side walk in front of it. They had the best price and found away to salvage our railings which no one else was able to do. The team did a great job repairing the porch and the surrounding area. They were efficient and cleaned up the work area very nicely."

"I was impressed with Central Jersey Driveways from the first time Mike came over to give me a free estimate! They worked through the NJ Blizzard of 2026 and did an absolutely beautiful job installing pavers in my driveway! The crew was hardworking and experienced. "Mike was great. I got two spots in my backyard that I wanted patio pavers, around one side of the pool and underneath my second floor deck. By the pool was approx. 250sqft with a walkway and below the deck 256sqft as well. Along with 3ft x 15ft concrete patch. I needed this project competed before the weekend and him and his crew was able to get the job in three days. Both patios look great and my wife can finally see my vision and she loves it as well."

Small jobs welcome

"Review: Brick and Stone Repair Services I hired NJ R&V HALL CONSTRUCTION INCf or some much-needed brick and stone repair around my home, and I?m extremely pleased with the results. They repaired a crumbling retaining wall and some loose bricks on the front steps, and the work was seamless?blending perfectly with the original structure. Mr. Hall was punctual, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and left the site clean when finished. The quality of the craftsmanship really shows?they restored the integrity and appearance of the masonry beautifully. Highly recommend NJ R &V HALL CONSTRUCTION, INC for any brick or stone work. Reliable, skilled, and easy to work with."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

If your epoxy application ended up a bit messy and left spills behind, there are several ways to clean epoxy off of a concrete floor. You can use a power washer with at least 3,000 PSI. However, it may be easier to use a scraping tool or an acidic cleaner, like vinegar, to remove unwanted epoxy.

If the entire floor has epoxy and you want to remove just excess epoxy stains, these methods could still strip parts of the epoxy floor. Move carefully and in small areas to minimize damage, or call a pro for an expert finish.

You can certainly utilize a pressure washer to effectively clean your garage floor. If you're dealing with oily residue, consider adding a degreaser to the pressure washer solution. Prior to using the pressure washer, make sure to thoroughly sweep the garage floor to eliminate any loose dirt or debris.

Begin the pressure washing process from the back of your garage, which is closest to your home, and work your way towards the front. This ensures that the water and dirt are directed outside. In case you've applied a cleanser or degreaser, it's a good idea to give the floor another pass with clean water using the pressure washer to ensure a thorough rinse.

You can hire a landscaper to clean up your asphalt driveway or make minor repairs. You can also hire a company that specializes in asphalt driveway installation and repair. For cleaning jobs, most landscapers charge by the hour. Pressure washing a driveway costs between $100 to $350, but spot treatments and refilling damaged asphalt will cost extra.

There’s no legal requirement that states that you need rebar in a concrete driveway, but since the slab will be supporting heavy vehicle loads, it’s always a good idea to pay a bit more for rebar reinforcement. Your driveway will be much more likely to crack if you don’t reinforce it with rebar. Driveways that need to support commercial vehicles or provide parking for multiple vehicles at once should always include rebar reinforcement. If you’re pouring concrete over asphalt or pouring concrete over an existing slab, you may not have enough depth for rebar, meaning an increased risk of cracking.

No. In spite of its identical chemical makeup, sodium bicarbonate manufactured for blasting purposes has a particular type and size of particles that differs from grocery store baking soda. In addition, this method would not be cost effective because you would need several boxes of baking soda to equal one blast-sized bag of medium.
