"Silvino Mendez assigned us 2 excellent flooring professionals to do the job (Ivan & Alex). Very professional, experienced, on time, neat, and friendly, too! I was very impressed with Ivan’s suggestions as to the job, esp since the product we purchased on our own was not up to par. We went with them to get Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring at another flooring place and it worked out perfectly. He Evan called them twice to see what colors they had in stock so job wasn’t delayed. Job was still done on time despite having to return the initial materials and obtain credit. Ivan recommended we get shoe molding as appears in the pics and he painted them a beautiful grey that we had mixed to match at the store. These moldings set the finished look. We are very impressed. Silvino phoned in several times during the process to his contractors and myself. When install was complete, he came to the house to view everything with his flooring professionals and myself. In three and a half days of work there were multiple mistakes in plumbing: including selecting the wrong PVC fittings, not installing the roof vent flashing properly, and drilling oversized holes in the studs violating the building code. Similarly - ignoring the manufacturer's installation manual - he shows up with the wrong duct size for the kitchen exhaust. It must be embarrassing to face criticism from a homeowner, who seems to know more, or care more about things getting done right. His answer: sending a check back without any word, claiming full credit for unfinished, uninspected work. No discussion. Is client satisfaction is the number one goal?"
