Bongiornos ContractingAfter interviewing several hardscape contractors to perform a sizeable backyard remodel we went with Bongiornos Contracting. From the first step through each succeeding phase of the project I found both Chuck and C.J to be super knowledgeable and very receptive to all our concerns. They offered valuable insight in choosing the materials, the paver layout and the garden wall height/layout. The team of installers showed up every day promptly and while parking on my block was tight with the pallets of materials and trucks they did their best to minimize the disruption to my neighbors. The paver work, including the inlay and border pavers, was outstanding and exceeded expectations. A few minor hiccups occurred which is normal for a job this size but all were taken care of to my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Bongiornos contracting to anyone looking for a company that produces some truly exceptional work- EDWARD V.

We thought we had a good plan, but Ryan, the designer, came up with one that was infinitely better. Ryan stayed with the project every day until completion, and Frankie, the owner, also made sure things stayed on track. The crew that did the labor was meticulous and worked incredibly hard. Landscape ImpressionsI have hired Landscape Impressions (3 Howard Ct, Goshen, NY 10924, tel: 845- 351-3454) to change my front of the house entry and little garden with new masonry and new garden. Mr. Brian Mitchell, the owner and his crew (Leo, Jose, Ricardo, Rudy) are highly trained professionals and great people to do business with. Attention to all details, to all my feisty tastes, changes, ideas. Answers to all my questions, great verbal, e-mail and texting communications with all required pictures. Very good pricing, accurate, no surprises. They sent all electric, gas, water/sewer companies to mark the entire area in preparation for work. They removed old pond, waterfall, replaced water piping with new one, hidden under concrete. All cleaning after each day of work. They have all the machines and tools needed for masonry, granite, trees, flowers, grass, etc. I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to continue working with this crew for the back of my house, driveway, etc. Didn't stop to what was written in contract, added little details with pleasure, no overcharge. I highly commend and recommend to everybody. Thank you so much, we're so happy with the new look.- barie h.

Roy Targia MasonryRoy, his foreman Joe and the crew did a great job. Two days in & out and a fantastic job. Even with an unforeseen set back with my property they were still able to stay on track. Only regret is not having room in the budget for an outdoor kitchen. Tip: If there is bad weather a day or two prior to your start date, reach out to Roy to see if the ETA is the same. Bad weather could extend the previous job's time, which could extend your start date. Otherwise a thumbs up choice- Tom H.

I mostly interfaced with Anthony but did speak with John and the company receptionist. All were very pleasant, professional, and super easy to work with. Anthony was understanding, patient, and helped me decide which work should be prioritized in order to stay within my budget. The Essex & Morris work crew arrived as scheduled, did excellent work, and didn’t leave a mess afterwards. I wish I had known of them the first time I had mason work done at my home as I wouldn’t have had to settle for inferior workmanship. My apologies to E&M for not writing this review sooner. The sidewalk sections and driveway asphalt paving were excellent! I highly recommend using Essex & Morris.

MC Home did an incredible job customizing our new home. We found them August 2020, moved into the house October 2020 and began work in November. The crew was a delight to have at the house everyday while we were home working, of course noisy with the demo but we made it work! Availability for materials/doors/windows delayed the project at times which was out of their control. Word of advice during home remodel during Covid, don't delay decision making! Eric did a great job explaining things that we didn't know or other ways to think of how to build/style. The sunroom is hands down our favorite room in the house. The fireplace needed a makeover - MC Home gave some great suggestions on trim/moulding styles and it was done in a week. Overall, I appreciated the time Eric and the team took to make sure we understood the process and keeping us in the loop as it progressed each week. Project costs were reasonable and in line with industry standard. We'll definitely recommend them to friends/family and use MC Home in the future!

Although we did not hire TJB to plant the trees, Ted provided us with some valuable information that the Emerald Green were not Deer Resistant and knew that our area had lots of deer so he suggested using the Green Giant variety instead.
