"Bill did a fantastic job painting our foyer and dining room. He is a perfectionist and cares about doing a perfect job for the customer. He is also very personable and ensures that he keeps the house neat and clean as he paints and wraps up his equipment each day. I highly recommend Bill (owner of B&B Interiors) and will call on his company again if/when we need additional painting done in our home."

"Very well. Good phone/email communication; I felt they were prompt, honest, and did a fine job. Wallpaper came off easily so the job was not difficult. I supplied contractor trash bags, & paint. They brought the rest. Glad to have the Maranca brothers on our list of reliable companies."

"The OnCall team does wonderful work installing wallpaper! They are very communicative, thorough and clean. I have worked with them on many projects and they always do a great job! They also do repair work seamlessly (we had them do one on an older install that was by someone else we had extra paper for). The team members have a good eye and are experts in their field."

"Miguel was efficient and very easy to work with. The wallpaper removal was not an easy task, but he got it done and painted. We are definitely pleased with the results. We're having him back for another job too."

"Howard and his team lived up to his reviews and exceeded our expectations with the project. The quality of the workmanship was top-notch and the pricing was fair. Howard was courteous, friendly and very professional and treated my mom very well. We original hired Howard to remove some wallpaper and paint a few rooms in a house my mom was selling. However, do the quality of the workmanship we expanded the scope to painting almost all the interior as well as the basement. Howard also suggested ideas on how to deal with a textured ceiling which saved my mom money and shortened the duration to the project. We were so impressed that we hired Howard again to paint the whole interior of the new house my mom bought. We will definitely use him again for any of our future painting needs."

"Tony did a great job on this project, which consisted of power washing and painting my front and back stairs. We encountered a couple of issues with rotting wood on my railings, and Tony took extra time to fix these issues, basically for the cost of the materials. The job was done in a very professional manner and it looks great. Tony was also very responsive by phone, and while the scheduling did change a few times for various reasons (e.g. weather), he always let me know what was happening."

"We were not pleased with the work of this company.  While the price is right, there were so many things that went wrong on the job that I'm not sure if I can remember all of them.
First of all, when I hire a painter, my assumption is that they will work on my job only until the project is complete.  This was not the case.  The painters left the job for days on end, being called to other locations.  The work was sloppy in numerous places - we had to keep calling them back to correct things.  I also had bedroom furniture damaged when the workers moved my end tables to another room - they didn't take the care necessary to protect them.  Walls under light covers/cable covers were not painted - they were left the original color of the rooms.  My bedroom wall has cracked in one place already - as they didn't do the repair needed in that area evidently to prevent that from happening.  Paint has chipped in other areas - something which should not happen so soon after completion.
At exterior painting they also didn't take care to protect elements of the home properly.  I had paint spatter covering newly installed railings at my front walkway, stains applied incorrectly on wood lattice which they installed (numerous empty areas - should have used a spray gun for that or painted it before installation), totally ruined my exterior balcony door with using too thick a layer of paint on it.  There were paint brush hairs all over the door as well, paint on screens (why they weren't removed or covered is beyond me), spattered paint on a custom mailbox, and the same on our house number plaque.
There is more, but I'll just leave it at it was an extremely sloppy job which took literally WEEKS to complete and I was told it would take less than 1 week.
While there were some circumstances that made the job take longer (some weather related and some of his workers having personal problems), the amount of errors exceeded what would be considered excusable.
The only good thing I can say is that from far away, the house looks ok and, the owner Phil (others mention a different name, not sure why) tried to be as pleasant as possible throughout this.

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Walls should be as smooth as possible before applying peel-and-stick wallpaper. Although you technically can apply wallpaper on textured walls, the peel-and-stick variety won’t last long without a clean, smooth surface for the adhesive to stick to. If you have textured walls, consult a pro about removing the textured finish before moving forward with wallpaper.

Wallpaper lasts an average of around 15 years, but there is some variance. The type of wallpaper matters, as vinyl wallpaper tends to last the longest—sometimes 20 years or more—while a peel-and-stick wallpaper, which is the easiest to install for DIYers, will usually only last for around five years. Exposure to high humidity, smoke, and UV rays from sunlight can also limit the lifespan of your wallpaper, as can heavy traffic in the installation area.

While peel-and-stick wallpapers require no time to cure, the adhesives for other types of papers will take a day or two to dry and up to three weeks to fully cure. The differences are the type of paper, the type of adhesive, and the humidity and temperature in the space.

Because replacing pool tiles requires fully draining your pool, it’s a great opportunity to complete other projects. You may want to replace your pool’s vinyl liner or repair cracks. You might also replace your swimming pool heater or even take on the cost of resurfacing your pool. Resurfacing, although relatively costly, can help prolong the lifespan of your pool.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.
